"Guys?" I asked.

Briar hesitated before answering me.

"We need to take his heart out, and then burn him."

I groaned.

"Of course it is."

A moment after I finished my sentence, the demon woke up.

He started to laugh.

Then he turned to me.

"Your uncle told me to say hello for him."

My blood ran cold. No.

Briar was shaking with anger while Blake's eyes were green and his body tense.

I started looking around for a sharp stick or rock. We had to be prepared to rip out a heart.

My eyes landed on a sharp tipped rock about twenty feet back.

I had to do something quick.

"Distract him. Pick a fight with him or something. I'm going to get that sharp rock back there and hope it's at least not too dull." I thought out.

"Don't have a problem with that." Briar thought back.

And with that, the demon was tackled by an art teacher.

I took the chance to run over to that rock.

I picked it up carefully and turned to the battle going on.

The demon was being held back the brothers.

"You're going to have to do it now Ebony!" Blake yelled out.

I didn't have any time to think about it.

I let the the goddess in me take over.

In a split second, the demon was free from their grip. He was running towards me with inhuman speed.

Put I ran towards him too. I was moving faster than I ever have.

Once I got close enough, I prepared to slide myself so he would miss me.

Just one moment before we were about to collide, I slid myself between his legs, stabbing him in his chest and yanking the sharp object down through his abdomen.

Once I slid through his legs, the rock had made its own way out.

I went from sliding on my knees to standing on my legs on a split second.

The demon had stopped In what I'm guessing was pain and shock.

The two brothers look pretty shocked too.

I looked down at my hands, only to be covered in a black substance.
The rock I was once holding, was now on the snow covered ground, also covered in the dark liquid.

   The demon turned around slowly.

From his chest to his lower belly, was a large and deep gash.
The black substance, was his blood.

He fell to his knees.

Briar walked over to him while Blake got out a lighter.

"Close your eyes, Eb." Blake said.

I closed my eyes.

I heard the sails of pain coming from the demon, followed by a sickening noise.

I didn't have to look in order to know that Briar had just ripped his heart out.

I heard the sound of a lighter being ignited, and something being set ablaze.
