It was a bright, summer day.

Mr. and Mrs. Evans were both in the hospital, ready to give birth. But they were really scared. It's their first child so Mrs. Evans was really afraid of how it might go.

"It's okay, honey. It'll be okay." Mr. Evans tried to reassure his wife, stroking her head soothingly.

"But what if the baby comes upside down? What if there's something wrong with her? What if it hurts?" She asked questions so quickly that Mr. Evans doesn't even have time to answer any of them.

"The baby will be fine. Don't worry. It won't hurt as well. It'll be over before you even know it."

But no matter what he said, she was shaking with fear and panic.

The doctor came towards them. "Do we have a name for her?" She asks as they wait for a contraction.

Mr. Evans looked between the doctor and his wife before answering, "Actually, we haven't-"

"Hope"

Mrs. Evans looked up at him, smiling.

"How come we never talked about that before?" He asked, looking at her.

Mrs. Evans just shrugged.

"Honey, are you sure?" But even if he asked for confirmation, it seemed like he liked it too. He couldn't hide his smile.

"Yea. She gave us hope for a family. This is the perfect name for her."

They had to try hard to have a baby. So when they got pregnant with the baby girl and when they didn't have a miscarriage like how doctors said they might, they got really hopeful for a better future with a big family.

They smiled at each other and the doctor smiled as well, looking at the soon-to-be-parents.

"Hope Evans."

It did hurt the mother when she was giving birth as screamed out in pain. The little baby girl came out normal with no faults to be seen.

She was a beautiful baby girl with chubby little fingers and tiny little toes. Her face was so cute with the sweet tiny nose and pink lips. Her eyes were brown and shinning and big!

Mrs. Evans held the little princess close to her body. She couldn't stop her tears from falling down her face. Mr. Evans was hugging the little baby and his wife tightly, while crying as well.

But there was a problem.

Even though, the baby girl was born with no faults, as everyone waited for her first cry, it never happened. She never cried. Her parents never heard her scream. They never even got to hold her for more than once as she was already gone, even before she was born.

She never got a chance to see her mother who held her for 9 months in the womb.

The same time as that, in the same hospital, there were Mr. and Mr. Lewis, giving birth to their second child. They didn't know the sex of the baby as they wanted to be surprised. They didn't know anything about the baby.

But the mother wasn't scared about this. She was glad that it was finally over and that they would soon get a baby.

They waited patiently for the time to come, with their first son, Alex waiting in the waiting room.

Mrs. Lewis had to stay for more than 24 hours because her baby wasn't ready to come out just yet.

It hurt her a lot to give birth this time as her babies were upside down. They came out on their butts. It was a messy deal but finally, after all that screaming, they had two beautiful baby girls.

 But there was a problem.

They didn't want two babies. They never thought they would get twins. They couldn't handle 3 children with the financial state they were in. They won't be able to bear the burden. It was too much for them to handle.

The decision they made at the end of the day, made a lot of changes in so many lives.
