The evening sky over the kingdom was painted in soft pinks and golds as laughter and music floated through the air. The royal family had just finished their group dinner, the clink of plates and cheerful chatter still echoing in the halls. Lanterns flickered gently along the cobblestone paths as families strolled home, wrapped in warmth and comfort.Inside the grand castle, the three brothers shared a quiet moment with their parents.
Taeyong’s voice was calm but firm. “Kids, it’s late. Training starts early tomorrow—time for bed.”
Mark wiped a strand of wet hair from his forehead as he nodded, the bath still steaming behind him. “Okay, Dad.”
Jeno grinned, already wrapping a towel around his shoulders. “On it.”
Jisung gave a sleepy smile. “Yes, Mom.”
Jaehyun ruffled their hair affectionately. “Alright, fellas. Let’s get moving.”
One by one, they teleported to their rooms, slipping into the quiet routine of bathing and preparing for sleep. The castle settled into peaceful silence.
Then, a shrill siren shattered the calm.
Guards thundered down the marble halls, their armor clanking like thunder as urgency filled the air.
The brothers leapt from their baths, water dripping as they snapped their fingers—robes transforming instantly into battle armor.
“Dad!” Jeno shouted, eyes wide with alarm.
“Don’t!” Jaehyun warned, but the boys were already moving—steadfast, resolute.
They took their positions, scanning the shadows, hearts pounding beneath steel.
Taeyong’s voice cut through the chaos. “Be vigilant.”
Suddenly, a flash of light and a fierce zap left a plume of smoke in the air.
Chenle’s voice rang out, panicked but brave. “Watch out, guys!”
Jisung grabbed Chenle’s arm tightly. “You have to hide—now!”
“No!” Chenle shook his head fiercely. “I’m staying. We fight together.”
A second burst of light enveloped them, and for a moment, everything was chaos and shadow.
“Leave, Jeno! Please!” Jaemin’s voice cracked with desperation as he clung to his lover.
Mark’s voice was steady but strained. “Hyuck—”
Hyuck’s proud smile shone through the smoke. “I’m not leaving. Not while our home is at risk. The demons are vicious—they’ll find a way in if we don’t stand strong.”
Mark sighed but nodded. “Alright. Stay close.”
The castle shook as sparks flew and dust settled—angels and demons locked in a deadly dance.
A dark, swirling cloud appeared, blotting out everything.
They tried to dispel it, but it clung, cold and unforgiving.
