Ch 14: Unwanted Goals

"NO!!!" Oam slammed down on the roof of the house he was standing on, scaring the

citizens in it. "They were supposed to fall apart! He was supposed to be heartbroken! They were

supposed to blame themselves, leading to him blaming himself, and then try to make things

better by dying! WHY DIDN'T IT WORK?!" Oam punched the roof, bruises forming on his

knuckles. Oam then fell silent, realizing that no one would answer. "Why can't I die?" Oam

began to tear up. Quickly wiping his tears, he sighed. "Okay... here we go again." Oam said as

he jumped off the house.

"Mao Mao!" Adorabat giggled, flying as Mao Mao and her had a water gun fight. Some

water landed on Badgerclops.

"Hey guys, be careful. You could've gotten the cape wet." Badgerclops went back to

browsing on his phone.

"... Why do you have one of my capes?" Mao Mao watched as Badgerclops' grip on his

phone tightened.

"I... It's nice?" Badgerclops awkwardly grinned, hoping Mao Mao would believe him.

Sighing as Mao Mao stared at him, Badgerclops stood up and walked to Mao Mao.

"Badgerclops... is this because of me going missing?" Mao Mao looked up at

Badgerclops, worry in his eyes.

"... I'm... just afraid of losing you again. This for some reason helps." Badgerclops

grabbed the cape, tears forming in his eyes. "I-If you want it back, I-"

"No!" Mao Mao covered his mouth, not wanting to yell. "Just, if it makes you happy, I

want you to keep it." Mao Mao smiled, grabbing Badgerclops hand. Badgerclops quickly hugged

him, followed by a kiss.

"Thank you so much." Badgerclops teared up, smiling as he hugged Mao Mao again.

"N-No problem." Mao Mao said as he blushed.

"When did you two become a couple?"

"UH... when I came back."

"... Should've told me." Adorabat pouted, making Mao Mao laugh.
