The next morning, Leon woke up. He had thought about it all last night, he was going to tell everyone at brawl school who Nita was crushing on.
As Leon walked to brawl school, he saw Nita walking across the road.
Leon ran up to Nita and cornered her.
"Hi Leon!" chirped Nita happily, "do you want to walk to school with me?"
"No thanks Nita," Leon snapped.
"Why?"
"Because nobody likes you."
"Yes they do!" Nita said in a shocked voice.
"Well they won't at the end of the day."
At that word, Leon ran off laughing.
That's strange, Nita thought. Leon never acts like this, he's usually shy and quiet.
When Nita arrived at brawl school, she saw loads of kids whispering to each over and looking at her strangely.
"What's going on?" Nita asked as she tapped Gene on the shoulder.
"Well, well, well... look who's here," Gene spat. "It's Nita the love bunny."
The whole hall burst out laughing.
Suddenly Nita felt somebody grab her shoulder.
Nita spun around and was relived to see that it was Jessie.
"Come with me," Jessie said as she pulled Nita into a nearby classroom.
