Hailey's POV:
I'm getting ready for my first girl's day out, since having Everly 2 months ago.
It's weird to think that there was a time when she wasn't with us.
She has completely stolen our hearts.
I thought I loved Ogre before, but watching him become a Daddy has made me love that man so much more.
I remember taking her home from the hospital.
Justin wouldn't leave until the staff had promised him that Everly's carseat was securely in place.
He wouldn't even let our driver drive.
He had to be the one to take his family home.
So what normally would have taken 20 minutes to drive, took 60.
He was in full Dad mode.
I remember Pattie and my Mom meeting us at the door.
And watching Pattie record Justin taking Everly out of the car.
Watching him whisper
"Welcome home, Everly Drew!"
As we walked inside.
That first night home, we just stood at her crib....staring.
He whispered,
"We made her.
Twinkles, can you believe that?
We made the most beautiful tiny human being to ever exist."
I grabbed his hand, unable to take my eyes off of her.
"We sure did, Ogre!
She's so beautiful!"
I remember how nervous we were to leave her alone.
How Justin had spent hours before she was born, setting up a top of the line video monitor.
So we could always watch over her.
I was so exhausted that first night home.
My husband had me taken care of though.
"Take a warm shower and I'll go make you some tea."
When I got out of the shower, I found him back in her room.
Just staring at her.
I watched as he slowly swept his hand over her soft hair.
"Ogre, be careful. She might wake up.
She needs her sleep."
He smiled.
"I can't help it.
I'm obsessed with her!"
I grabbed his hand, leading him to our room.
"I can see your going to stalk our poor daughter from the jump, hmmm?"
He gave me his signature smirk as he tucked me into bed.
I remember falling asleep that night, wrapped in his arms.
Even when Everly woke up later that night, he didn't wake me up right away.
He rocked her and changed her by himself.
He even tried to put her to my breast without waking me up.
I woke up to my husband awkwardly trying to get our baby girl latched on to my breast.
I heard him whispering to her
"Let's not wake up Mommy.
She's really tired, ok?
Just put your mouth right there and eat,ok?"
I opened my eyes.
"Babe, are you seriously trying to breast feed our daughter without waking me up?"
He had a guilty grin.
"Look down Twinkles!
She's already having her fill."
He was right.
I had to give him some credit.
"How did you get her to latch on?
I've been having a hard time doing it myself?"
He just shrugged.
"Ev and I are on the same wavelength is all.
We get each other."
I felt kinda left out, and he nudged my arm.
"Hey! Don't be sad.
Everly loves you more.
I watch her eyes follow you.
It's like your the only one in the room.
She's like her Daddy in that way."
I kissed his forehead.
"So what you're saying is I have two stalkers?"
He nodded.
"Exactly, like I said...Ev and I share the same wavelength!"

And that's how these last 2 months had gone.
I supplied the milk...and they stalked me.
It was actually perfect.
That's why I didn't want to leave them today.
But I promised Kendall, and she was excited.
So after getting ready to go out, I found my stalkers lounging on the couch.
Justin had Everly propped up on his legs.
He was swinging her arms around.
"That's what you call a right hook, Ev.
It will get em every time."
I giggled as I got closer.
"Get who everytime?"
He gave me a knowing look.
"The boys....obviously."

"You do know she's only 2 months old, right?"

"Yeah...but you have to train em young."

"Ogre, at this rate...she'll be knocking out the little boys in pre-k!"

"Exactly my plan.
Now please go and enjoy your girl day!
Ev and I have plans."
