I was so confused when I saw his face on screen.

Tom Holland.

I remembered him so clearly. I hadn't spoken with him for a few years now but boy, did I remember the time where I did.

We had been dancing together when we were kids. Sure, I knew that he was an actor by now but Spiderman? No. That one was going straight pass me.

Maybe I was living under a rock after all.

"I didn't knew that Tom was now an Avenger." I said all of the sudden when I was sitting in the car with my dad on our way home.

"You didn't?" My dad tried to act surprised but in reality he didn't know anything about the Avengers either.

"No." I shook my head.

My dad probably didn't even remember Tom. He was so talented when it came to remembering lines and stuff but terrible at remembering names.

"Which Tom are we talking about?" He asked me after a moment of silence.

"I was dancing with him at Nifty."

"Before I joined the Royal Ballet." I was eleven when I got offered a spot at the Royal Ballet School. Tom and I were actually pretty good friends back then. He had been visiting me after practice at least a couple of times while we were dancing together. We drifted apart when I transferred.

"That's a long time ago, honey." He said as he looked at me from behind the wheel.

"He was visiting me a few times, dad."

"You were even the one who picked us up after practice."

I looked at him.

"The... Curly haired kid?" He asked after a while. He had probably been thinking a lot about it.

"Exactly!"

I found my phone from my pocket.

"Maybe I should send him a message."

Well... I didn't have his number or anything but I assumed that he had Instagram.

My dad didn't say anything at first.

"Why?"

He tried to sound curious but it sounded way more skeptical. That was just the way my dad was.

When it came to guys he didn't trust anyone. Even after almost fifteen years of friendship he didn't trust my two best friends, Blake and Sebastian. Sebastian wasn't even interested in girls.

"Just to say hi." I shrug my shoulders as I searched for his name on Instagram.

"Well if you want to." He said with a tense smile on his face.

My dad had always been super overprotective of me and my sister when it involved dating. He said that he knew how boys were thinking.

"Mhm." I answered.

Tom and I weren't following each other on Instagram. He had a lot of followers. I wondered if he would even read my message.

"Just be careful." He said.

"Dad... I'm pretty sure that nothing will happen from just saying hi."

I looked at him for a few seconds before I pressed the follow-button and afterwards went to send him a DM.
