youngjae sighed as he waited for his lover, today was their 3 year anniversary and the smaller male got all ready for their date. he wanted to take jaebum to the cafe they met at. but of course first stopping at a fancy restaurant, only the best for his jaebum "he should've been home from work already.." youngjae looked on the clock reading 8:27pm

"maybe there's a lot of traffic today"
youngjae tried convincing himself that his boyfriend was on his way but when 10:00pm came he knew that he forget about their anniversary.

"i-i though-"
youngjae ran upstairs taking off his nice outfit and putting on a big hoodie and shorts. he took of the little makeup he put on and covered himself in all the blankets you could imagine. the younger just cried and cried hoping that the older had a good excuse for his absence.

jaebum sat in the studio trying to come up with songs for their new comback. he was planning on staying there the whole night because the deadline for the album was very soon. he decided to look at his twitter for a quick second due to him becoming tired. the said male saw all the fans wishing him and youngjae a happy anniversary and some making edits and some fans drawing fan art. "oh my gosh!" jaebum grabbed all his things and saved the unfinished song on his hard drive.

he ran into his car and drove the fastest he's ever driven. jaebum felt so bad it was already 12:46pm and he knew how much he screwed up. youngjaw was sensitive, the older male didn't even realize today was their anniversary and felt ten times worse as he thought about how his fans remembered and he couldn't even.

as soon as he got home he ran inside seeing and hearing nothing.
"baby boy! i'm home!"

silence.

"youngjae!"
jaebum heard nothing and started to panic, what if something happened to him while he was gone? what if he did something-

"b-bummie..?
jaebum looked on the top of there stairs to see a sad puppy with puffy red eyes and a swollen face. "baby! i'm so sorry i know i forgot but i-" jaebum held his head down in shame as he didn't even know how to apologize to the love of his life.

what he didn't expect was a hug from his shaking boyfriend. "i-i thought something bad happened to you!" youngjae held the taller close to him afraid that he was hurt or he would lose him "are you okay! you're not hurt right??" youngjae started looking at his lovers arms face for any injuries or anything that was visible

"yes yes i'm fine my love, but i want to apologize i wasn't here on time"
youngjae just looked down at his feet not really knowing what to say to jaebum "baby..please talk to me-" what the older male didn't expect was a kiss from the shorter male and holding him closely

"i forgave you already you big idiot!.....can we just cuddle please?"

"of course my love, happy 3 year anniversary"
they shared one long kiss before goin upstairs and watching movies just enjoying being in one another's embrace.
