It's the next day, and currently my friends and I were playing Mario kart on the wii at my house. We still had a few hours til the party started.

"I SWEAR TO GOD JOSIE IF YOU PUSH ME OFF THE TRACK ONE MORE TIME-" Tate screams

Our games get intense, fun but intense. Especially with Tate. She frequently loses her temper.

"SORRY I WANNA WIN." Josie shouts back

"JOKES ON YOU I JUST WON FUCKERS!" I shout jumping up and chucking my remote down

"yOU GUYS ARE SO LOUD." Livy says walking in

"Wear headphones." I shrug

"I WAS, WITH THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP."

"Oops." I say

Then Autumn walks in with two dresses

"Ok, India which one do you like better?" She holds them up

"Those are my dresses though?" I say confused

"Yea duh, they're for you." She says

"Why do I need to wear a dress again?" I ask

"Because were going to a party."

"Ok well one, it's a bonfire and two, it'll be cold so I'm not wearing a dress." I say

"Fine I guEss that makes sense." She rolls her eyes and walks back to my room

"Are you gonna try to look nice at all?" Josie asks

"Well yea but nothing extra." I shrug

"Well what are you gonna wear?" She asks

"I don't know, maybe jeans and t-shirt." I reply

"Sounds...comfy." Autumn says with a disgusted look on her face as she walks back in

"Yea, honey why don't you try to look cute for this boy your seeing?" My mom says walking in suddenly

"JeSus mom I didn't even know you were home. I thought you were getting groceries."

"But no, he's not a boy I'm seeing. He's just a friend and I don't have to look good for anyone but myself thank you." I say confidently

"Ok fine." My mom says

"But He May not be a friend for long." Autumn mumbles under her breath

"Guys I swear." I sigh

Once we all decide we should probably get ready with about 30 minutes, I pick out what I'm going to wear which ends up being a black turtle neck sweater and some cute lil mom jeans. Basic yes I know, but still very cute.

Then when we're all ready we cram into the car as Tate's driving

"Please don't kill us." Autumn says

"You know you can walk if you want." Tate replies

"You know what I'm good, you can drive badly that's fine." Autumn says sitting back into her seat as Tate rolls her eyes and drives away from my house

When we arrive at the party We walk back to where the bonfire was and I see Ruel talking to a few friends and some other people I notice from school talking amongst themselves.

For a while me and my friends dance and have just a few drinks while Autumn has found a boy to make out with already.

Then Ruel walks over to us and smiles

"Hey, having fun yet." He nudges me Teasingly

"Nah, kinda lame actually." I joke

"Wow harsh." He put a hand on his chest acting offended
