I stood there shocked at what I had just done but I smile to myself. Ruel looks at me confused then smirks.

"So I'm hoping this means you like me." He says scratching the back of his neck with one arm still around my waist

"I mean I would hope you got the hint after that." I giggle while jokingly pushing his chest

As soon as I put my hand on his chest, Ruel grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him to put his lips on mine again.

But before we could continue, we heard the door open fast and we both jumped out of each other's arms. Once we looked, we had realized it was Levi.

"Oh oops I interrupted something didn't I?" He awkwardly chuckles

Me and Ruel both look at each other and our cheeks go red.

"No uh...not at all, nothing was happening." Ruel said crossing his arms trying to be convincing which I rolled my eyes at

Levi didn't look too convinced and he just slowly nodded his head "Right....anyways, we're all waiting for you guys if you're still sleeping downstairs with us."

"Yea we're coming." I say starting to walk out behind Levi before Ruel pulls me back and swiftly turns me around to smash his lips against mine once more.

He pulls away and smirks "sorry just needed another taste." He said before biting his bottom lip and softly grabbing your hand to walk out with you then he leans down to whisper something in your ear

"So wait do you think we should keep this...thing between us? Just for now maybe?" He asks and you reply with a simple nod

You then go downstairs to the living room where everyone is laying on either a couch or the floor covered in blankets.

Of course, while you and Ruel were upstairs everyone had already taken the couches so you and Ruel were stuck sleeping on the floor.

While Josie, Levi and isla we're asleep, you, Ruel and Tate were left on your phones screwing around. You then hear a ping on someone's phone then a loud gasp and a "holy shit" you turn your head to discover that it was Ruel.

"What's going on?" Tate says sitting up

"My manager just texted me!" Ruel says still freaking out

"What did he say?!" I excitedly hit his arm rapidly

"Ok first oW and second, he said he booked me a few shows in Australia for February!!" He shouted

"Holy shit!" I say smacking his arm more

"Ok I'm glad you're just as excited as me, but plEase stop hitting me." He chuckles

"Sorry sorry, that's just amazing!!! AH IM PROUD OF YOU!!" I say before giving him a tight squeeze while he looks down and blushes

The Next week at school

It was now later in the school day, Ruel and I were walking out of our creative skills class together when we suddenly get stopped by a girl stepping in front of us. That girl was none other than Blake Phillips, she has about the biggest mouth in school and she never shuts up. I looked over at Ruel confused and he just looked annoyed and tried to walk away from her but she stopped him.

"What do you want Blake? We're just trying to leave." Ruel says with disinterest in his voice

"Oh I just wanted to know when you two started dating, ya know you and India." She said crossing her arms with a fake smile

Ruel and I look at each other confused

"Were not dating though?" I say but it comes out as a question

"You don't have to lie silly, I saw the video of you two walking out of a room together holding hands." She says pulling up her phone and of course right there, there's a video of me and Ruel walking out of his room hand in hand as he had whispered something to me.

I quickly cut her off before she continues "no no it's not what you think, Ruel and I are just friends. It was a one time thing, it was more for the project's sake of getting to know him better." I lie

Ruel looks at me with a clenched jaw but a hurt look on his face before looking back up to Blake "yea, for the project." He says

"Wait how did you get a video?" Ruel asked confused

"I didn't get a video, someone sent it to me." Blake replied innocently

"Yea ok and who fucking sent-" Ruel cut himself off as he glanced over at Levi then walking over to him.

"Levi what the fuck!" He shouted walking towards him

Levi quickly snapped his head towards Ruel who had put his hands on either side of Levi so he was trapped

"Dude what's going on?" Levi said looking nervous

"Who fucking told you that you could take a video of India and I? And why did you show Blake?!" Ruel shouted getting closer to Levi

I know Ruel would never hurt anyone of his best friends but it was making me nervous so I tried to pull him back
"Ruel ca-" he cut me off

"Not. Now." He said angrily making me feel a bit hurt

"Fuck dude I'm sorry I didn't think it would be a big deal, I um well I kinda like Blake but she really likes you so-" Ruel cut Levi off again

"So you thought it was ok to expose India and I, nice." He scoffed then walked off

I quickly went after him and ran in front of him and put my hands on his chest so he'd stop.

"Woah what's wrong, are you mad at me?" I ask genuinely concerned

He looked at me and scoffed "What do you think India?"

"Well I obviously don't know if I'm asking you." I say

He stares at me for a second before turning his gaze away from me "so you just kissed me for the project yea? You never even liked me and I actually admitted to my feelings for you and I don't do that because of shit like this. See? now you know why I'm pissed." He says before storming off leaving me speechless
