Ten

It's been a few days since Ruel and I had last talked, I've tried to text him to explain that I was trying to get Blake to shut up but he didn't respond. Honestly I hated not being able to hang out with him, I know it's only been a few days but I just miss him and I wish he wasn't mad at me.

But then, creative skills came around, where we had to work together. To say the least, it was awkward and you could feel the thick tension between us. He wasn't being mean or anything but he wouldn't make eye contact with me or even attempt to talk to me.

At this point I was sick of it "Ruel just talk to me!"

He didn't even look up from what he was doing, so I grabbed the paper he was writing on.

"Hey what the fuck give it back India!" He said grabbing at the paper.

"Oh now you talk to me." I say sarcastically

Ruel ignored me and continued to grab at the paper, but before he could reach it I sat on it.

He looked at me then looked at the paper then looked back at me before speaking up "I'll do it." He said seriously

I looked at him confused before he lunged forward at me and starting poking me making me squirm and laugh.

"R-Ruel stop I'm tickle-ish!" He laughs a long with me

"I'm not gonna stop until you give me my paper back." He smirks with a smug look on his face

"Fine-FINE ok I'll give you the paper!" I say still giggling

He finally stops poking me, so I grab his paper and hand it to him with an angry look on my face. Only because he won.

"Ruel...can we please just talk. I know you're upset with me but can you please just give me a chance to talk?" I ask seriously

I could tell he was contemplating on giving me the chance or not because his look was tense. Then his face softened and his eyes came to meet mine.

"I guess I really didn't need to push you out like that. So yea, but let's go out in the hallway maybe so we don't get looks." He chuckles making me smile

Ruel quickly pulls me into the hallway making sure the teacher didn't see us and we walk a little farther from the classroom.

Ruel and I stand face to face ( ;) ) where Ruel's looking off to the side and I'm awkwardly playing with the sleeve of my hoodie.

"Ruel you know I never meant to hurt your feelings right?" I say slowly looking back up at him

He nods "I know you didn't, and I'm sorry for being a dick about it. I just don't like when my feelings are played with even if it wasn't your intention."

"I understand that, but I just want you to know that I do like you I promise. I was just trying to get Blake to shut up because I know we had agreed to keep this between us for now, but I guess I went a little too far..." I sigh

"It's ok love, I overreacted. I like you too." He smiled at me which made my heart jump, especially at the nickname he gave me

"Soo are we good now?" I say shyly with a cheeky grin

He chuckles and pulled me into his arms to hug me then kissed the top of my head "we're good."

Later that night I had to watch Elsie because my entire family was gone for some championship thing for the weekend but it was a hassle if Elsie went along because she's restless. So I decided I would stay home with her.

I actually loved hanging out with her, despite her being a little shit sometimes. My mum had given me money to order pizza so I ordered her favorite pizza, pineapple and ham. While we were waiting Elsie has also suggested that we watch the movie the princess and the frog which I didn't complain about at all.

I then hear my phone ding so I pull it out of my pocket to check the notification.

I'm just watching Elsie, wanna come over?

Ruelio
Sure I'll be over in ten xx

"Hey Elsie Ruel's coming over, is that ok?" I ask sitting down next to her on the couch

"Sure, we can all watch movies together!" She giggles happily

About 15 minutes later Ruel had gotten here and so did the pizza. So we all sat in the living room eating our pizza while trying to find something to watch.

"So what do you guys wanna watch?" I ask

Ruel smirks "50 shades of grey." He says jokingly of course

I lightly smack his arm as Elsie looks up at me "what's that movie? I WANNA WATCH IT!" She excitedly says as my eyes widen and Ruel's just laughing to himself

"This is your fault." I glare at him

"Ok fine, Elsie do you like superhero movies?" Ruel asked Elsie before she had nodded

"Ooh I have an idea, what about Spider-Man?" I ask pulling the movie up on the tv

"YES!" both Elsie and Ruel say getting excited making me chuckle at them

"Ok Spider-Man it is!" I laugh

Half way through the movie, I hear light snores coming from Elsie. I looked at the time and it was about 10:30 so it was past her bedtime.

"I'm gonna go put Elsie to bed, I'll be right back. You can pick something else to watch if you want." I say to Ruel before walking upstairs to Elsie's room

Once I'm done getting Elsie ready for bed I go back downstairs to Ruel who had chosen to watch Friends.

"Oo I love friends, it's so good!" I say as I plop down next to him on the couch

"Right, it's probably my favorite show honestly. I used to watch it like almost every night." Ruel says

I chuckle "I still watch it every night, its like a natural part of my routine now."

Eventually Ruel and I had gotten pretty cuddled up together and he let me rest my head onto his chest. After a few episodes Ruel passed out, and I myself was drifting off to sleep so we just stayed there and slept on the couch that night.
