Ruel's POV
It was around 5pm and I was getting ready to leave my house to go pick India up. India and I are going to a Conan Gray concert along with a group of friends. Right before I leave I say bye to my parents and grab my keys.

I get to India's house and knock on the door, soon after I knock India's mum opens the door and smiles.

"Hi Ruel, come in." She saying opening the door wider

"Thank you." I smile

"Of course, India's in her room getting ready. You're welcome to go up." She says

I then walk upstairs and I hear india and her older sister talking about something.

"Oo what about him, he's cute. OH LOOK AT THE NEXT OUTFIT WOW!" one of them shouts

"He's alright, not the best though." I think India said that, I can tell it's her voice

I then hear a sigh "so you really think guys look better in button downs rather than a white t-shirt and grey sweats?"

"I mean I'm not saying a guy has to go all out for me to like him, I mean I wear a sweatshirt and leggings to school everyday. It just looks better honestly." India reasons with her sister

Before I seem creepy I knock on her door to let her know I'm here.

"Ruel is that you? Oh shit sorry let me fix my hair quick and I'll meet you downstairs." She yells from inside her room opening the door so I can see her

About an hour later we end up at the venue of the concert and meet up with our friends. India and I were trying to find them, but then I heard a loud squeal which I look towards and see Josie, India's friend run towards us.

"OH. MY. GOD. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE HERE SEEING MY BABY CONE IM- IM NOT OK INDIA HELP!" Josie says getting flustered grabbing onto India who seems pretty calm where I'm concerned

I start "What the f-" then India cuts my off by putting her finger up to me

"Shh yes I know what you're going to say and I understand. But unless you want her to beat you I would just be quiet." She shushes me

I raise my eyebrows "noted."

"Ok Josie you're fine. He's just a person, you can do it ok breathe." India tries to calm her

"How. Can. I. Breathe. I'M GONNA BE NEAR HIM! THIS IS SO EXCITING!" Josie shouts

I stand there awkwardly next to India until Josie calms down enough.

"So, do you guys wanna go to meet everyone else?" I ask them to which they both nod in response to.

Us three find where our friends were then, it was about 30ish minutes now until the opening act came on. Josie was crying already and India being the good friend she is was trying to calm her down.

The show finally started and everyone went insane. It's really cool to see a whole group of people to come together and support an artist. Imagine living that life wow.

Throughout the show everyone had theirs ups and downs of crying then screaming. Josie of course had the most extreme changes.

The whole time India and I were basically screaming the lyrics at each other. It made the concert even better honestly. About halfway through the show I saw India shaking and rubbing her arms yet she was still dancing and singing. I knew she was cold so I took the jacket I was wearing off and put it around her shoulders.

She turned to look at me confused and grabbed the jacket "aren't you cold?" She asks me

"Nah I'm fine, you can have it." I smile at her

"Thanks" she smiled back

After the show we all decided to go to a 24 hour breakfast place. Me, Luke and India were on one side and Josie, Isla and Tate were on the other side. We all ordered are food and were now playing random games of would you rather and stupid things like that. Luke was being really weird and touchy with India though, like he was flirting with her and trying to make her laugh. For some reason it made me uncomfortable and annoyed.

We were walking out of the restaurant and the girls were walking farther in front of Luke and I. It was silent between us and no one spoke, I just ignored him. Until he decided to speak up.

"Oi are you good?" He nudges me

"Yep." I say being short with him

I see him roll his eyes "what's the deal?" He asks

"Nothing there is no deal." I reply shrugging

"Are you mad because of India?"

I stop walking and look at him "why would I be?"

"It's so obvious you have a crush on her." He laughs

"I do not." I scoff

"Mmm yea ok, well then you would be ok with me flirting with her." He says

"See you were flirting with her!" I raise my voice a bit

"But I thought you didn't like her, so why do you care?" He says slyly

"I don't like her I just happen to think she's cute and nice and a great person." I shrug

"I very much don't believe you, I'll call her right now and tell her you do if you don't admit to me that you do have a crush on her." He smirks

"Ha you don't even have her number." I say confidently

"Hmm actually..." he holds his phone out, just about to press the call button

"Fuck fuck ok fine I might kinda like her a little bit." I say frantically

"That's what I thought, see you later." He smirks then walks to his car
