The Group Project;Ruel[Discontinued]

I was half asleep as I heard muffled voices talking and that's when I realized I was still at Ruel's house. I slowly open my eyes, revealing 3 teenage boys and 2 girls. I sat up confused before I take a look around Ruel and I which made me realize that I had basically fallen asleep on him.

"Ruel!" I whisper shout poking his side as I get off him

He stretches and groans turning in his sleep, then falling back asleep. I poke him once again.

"Ruel!"

"What?" He says incoherently mumbling as his eyes open

"You have visitors." I say

With that his eyes go wide and he shoots up, looking around at the teenagers who were silently snickering.

"Oh fuck-" Ruel blushed

"So um, guys this is India." He says gesturing awkwardly towards me

"Dude when did you get a girlfriend?" One of the guys asked then one girl smacked his arm

"Luke!" She hushed him

"Actually she's my partner for this group project we're doing. She's not my girlfriend." Ruel said

"Anyways, why are you guys here??" He asked

"We all made plans to hang out, but we can see your a bit busy." Another guy gestured towards me

"Uhm-" Ruel cleared his throat and his ears turned red

"So India since Ruel can't speak apparently, I'll introduce myself. I'm Isla and this right here is Alaina." A girl with brunette hair spoke with a smile as she pointed to another girl with pink hair

"Hey." Alaina spoke

"And were Sam, Levi and of course you already know Luke." He rolled his eyes

I had to admit, his friends were pretty attractive.

"Nice to meet you all." I smiled

"Well I don't wanna interrupt anything so I think I'll go home." I say looking towards Ruel

"No stay!" He says in a panic shocking me

His cheeks turn bright pink after he realized what he had done.

"Er- I mean you're welcome to stay and hang with us if you want." He smiles cheekily

"Smooth." Sam mumbled under his breath chuckling, which earned a quick glare from Ruel

"I'd love to but I think I should just go home." I say with a sigh as I get ready to head out the door

Suddenly Ruel grabs my hand and gives me puppy eyes that no one can really say no to "pleaseeeee." He whines

I swear the second he grabbed my hand and looked at me, my heart melted and my stomach suddenly did a 360. Something inside of me made me feel weird, but In a good way? I don't know what to think.

"Fine." I say giving in and sitting back down onto the couch

Throughout the rest of the night Ruel kept getting picked on by his friends and the one Luke kid kept eyeing me. They were all really sweet, and I've definitely talked to Isla and Levi a few times in class discussing what was and wasn't due and whose answers we could use to copy.

"So India, Ruel says you do a bit of photography?" Isla questioned

I nodded "yea a little bit, nothing much though. It's more of a hobby."

"Do you have any photos you could show us?" Ruel beamed raising his eyebrows

"I should have a few of my little sister. She likes to be my little model." I laugh and pull out my phone to search for the photos

I then pull a picture of my little sister up. I had gotten a picture in the middle of her laughing at a little puppy and clapping. We were on a boardwalk together.

Then I pulled another one up but it was of Elsie as she had just spilt her ice cream on her and she was looking down at it.

"These are fucking fireeeee." Sam says

"For real, these are so good!" Alaina spoke shyly

"Also can I have your sister, she's adorable." Isla coos

"Too bad she already likes me the best." Ruel says cockily

"That is true actually. She LOVES you now." I laugh

"uM why what the fuck I'm the best." Luke said putting his hands on his hips all dramatically

"No, I AM!" Sam does the same

"Uh no I am because I bought her ice cream so HA!" Ruel sticks his tongue out like a kid

"She's easy to please, don't get too cocky." I tease

"Hm yea, well what about you?" Ruel smirks

"Pfft, you think I'm easy? Funny." I scoff

"Oh so the ice cream and sushi didn't please you? Ouch." He says putting a hand on his chest acting offended

"Ok fine maybe a little."  I roll my eyes nudging him

"I would hope so damn." He says before laughing

Fuck he's so cute.

"Anyways....." Levi smirked and looked between Ruel and I

He continued "what should we dooooo." He said laying across the couch

I checked my phone for the time, only to see that it was getting pretty late, I still had a few things to do.
"I should probably go, I have stuff to do and it's getting pretty late." I sighed then smiled towards Ruel

"Awww ok, but all of us should hang out again." Isla said with a pout

I laughed "yea that'd be fun. Just text me."

"Ok, I'll add you to the group chat." Ruel said pulling his phone out

"Cool. Well I should probably go, bye guys." I smiled and left
