JADA

    In the community, every one is programmed to follow all commands. Sometimes, they forget to program people. And then, they have people sent out to have them killed. Overall, they are called "The Programmers." all identities of the programmers are unknown. But one, my dad. He basically runs the community. And he's looking for me, Jada Brownlee.

~~~
    He doesn't know my real identity is Jada. He thinks it's Patterson. Plus, he's not my real dad. I don't know who my real dad is. My mom does, but she won't tell me. So my two destinies are to find my dad, and get the heck out of this city.. ASAP. So, I went to the person I trusted the most. My friends, Kathy & Cargo. They are mom and dads age. To be honest, they are way better parents than my mom and dad. So, I packed my stuff and headed over to Kathy and Cargo's house.
  "What's up?" Cargo said when he answered the door. He's very handsome. He has a short Afro,dark brown eyes, and the skin color of caramel. He smelled of vanilla. "I need your help. Listen very carefully."
JOEY
  Cargo. He was wrong for what he did to my sister. He should have done the right thing so she wouldn't have to go through so much pain. If only I could find him, and destroy him.
14 YEARS AGO
    "Daddy, where are you going?" I asked. I was only 8. I didn't know a thing. "Somewhere." Cargo said. "But where?" I asked annoyingly. "Somewhere!" he said.
"But--" I started.
"Where I can be alone! And know I don't have 2 kids! I'm going to a place-- that I don't have responsibilities." He said
"But you--"
"No I don't!" And that's when he walked out of Jada's life. I didn't need him. But she did. I did everything I had to do. Expect for one. Tell her the truth about me being her sister, and him being her dad.
PRESENT DAY
     "Are you ready?" the lady said. She had long black hair and tons of tactoos. "Yes. Make it quick." She took the sharp knife and cut my neck open. I screamed, but I held tears back. "Ok, ok" she said. And with her gloves on she said, "Are you ready?" I thought about it. "This one is for you Jada." And she quickly pulled the chip out. "I'm done." She said. She went to her desk, grabbed a towel and gave it to me. I gentlly put it on my neck. "Thanks" I said as I got out the chair. She told me how I would still have to act programmed so I woulldn't be killed. I already knew that. This was only the first step to making the Unprogrammed Society. I had to be unprogrammed of course!  As I was walk out the door of her condo she says "Hey, what ever you're doing, make it good. I don't want to live this life. And If you need me to do anything, just let me know. My name is Linda." I nodded and started walking out the door. But then, I stopped. I had this feeling that this lady-- Linda, was completely involved in the process of finding my sister! "Thanks... again." I said. Then as I closed the door, I realized that this wasn't really the first step. I skipped the firist one, and that was a big mistake. I had to find her, and tell her the truth about me being her sister, and Cargo being her dad.
JADA
   After I told Cargo, he made this face. It almost seemed like he was about to cry. Then Kathy came down. "What's wrong?" she asked. She had on red lipstick, it didn't have a good fit for her though. Her long silky black hair was in a messy bun. Cargo told her what was up. She had a look in her eyes like I told you so to Cargo. "We can fix this, we can fix this!" she said. "We can go into my office and my friend Martha has this computer that has no security on it. We can use that, go into The Programmers program, and consider you programmed!" Cargo looked at her like she was crazy. "Um," I said trying to say my response in a nice way. "The Programmers have tons of security though." Cargo smilled. "Also, they do a monthly check on us to make sure we are programmed." Kathy looked confused. "Well, how do you pass?" Kathy asked. "Because, Patterson is programmed, but Jada isn't. And they are going to find out sooner or later my name isn't Patterson." I said.
"Because your mom will say something." Cargo mumbled.
"What?" I said. "Nothing." he said. "Let's just go with Kathy's plan. Let's go on the bus, they have GPS on our cars."
  When I got on the bus, Kathy and Cargo sat together. "Can I sit here?" I asked. "Sure" he said. The boy looked my age. He had a polo t-shirt and khaki pants on. "What brings you here on this bus?" the boy asked. I felt hesitant about telling him. But he looked like he wouldn't tell. So, I told him. He shushed me."You can't tell that to anybody!" He told me. "That's a very dangerous reason to come out the house. From now on, i'm the last one. You don't tell that to anybody." I got a little sinsitive. He was right though. "I'm Jada." I said. "Stephon." He said.
"So, what bring you here on the bus?" I asked jokingly
"Just getting away from my mom. And trying to get my name cleared. They're looking for me." He said as he looked out the window. "Well, we are going to go clear my name," I said hesitantly. "You want to come and clear yours?" I asked. "I'm sure my friends won't mind."
"Sure." he said as he smiled.
