Jada

Breathe, Jada, Breathe.

I'm guessing I can't follow my own commands.

Everything just went into a blur when something hit me. All I could see was black. But ever since I've been able to see, I see my mom holding the needle looking at me like I had 3,000 heads.

By this time, I might've.

"Jada. My sweet Jada. I thought I knew you better! Trying to stop your own mom from doing what's best for you. You deserve a sweet punishment. And, I mean it." Apparently, I can hear super clear judging on how clear I just heard my mom.

I tried to respond, but I was to weak to say anything. Even do anything. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.

"Ah, you have discovered a new feature of the new chip. See, you can't speak unless spoken too. This time, you guys have strict conditions."

Didn't this lady just speak to me? She can be so stupid.

I tried to speak again, but it didn't work. I felt so.. betrayed and paralyzed. I say Joey struggling to get out of the mans condition, but she couldn't. I tried to get my body moving over there, but I struggled so hard.

"Jada, don't try. You're stuck here with us. You will be our first recruit! You should be happy. Stop, because if you move, you have a 99.9% chance of getting killed, and you don't want that." My mother said.

Jada, don't listen to her. This is all just a trick. You're to smart to be caught under this simulation, and too smart to let mom bring you down. Jada, have courage. Don't give up. I heard Joey's voice say. Those words were just playing around in my head. And suddenly, they finally clicked. I am too smart. And, this is a simulation. This whole 'Programming' thing was a lie. All of these innocent people in the hands of my cruel parents. And seeing all of these people get killed for- what?

Nothing.

Nothing at all.

It was my time to show my mom and dad that they were doing wrong. I suddenly felt a feeling I've never felt before. Confidence. And, I gained my strength back. I was ready, to shut this whole thing down.

"Me." I whispered

"Nanananananana." I whispered again. I just wanted to make sure I could speak.

"Mom, you guys are some freaking cruel people. Do you know all the hurt you put families through? The stress and mourning?" I scoffed. "You know that people can be brilliant, intellegent, smart. And all of you in here, are scared of them. Yeah- I just figured that out. You're scared to get pushed around by them. Y'all wanted the spotlight. Y'all wanted to make sure you control every one's actions my sending around commands. Well, it's not going to work like that anymore. I see people out of their young years, and they are miserable. No offence Joey.-" She looked at me and laughed as I continued. "Kids deserve to have a childhood and explore. And you're just making it harder for them too." I looked at my side and grabbed the gun out of my pocket.

I'm too young.

I'm too young to be holding this heartless thing.

But, it's for everyone's own good.

"And mom, you know what I realized?" she looked up and scoffed. "What? Plus, what are going to do with that gun? I command you to put that down!" she yelled.

"Well mother, 'Commands come from programs, actions come from the heart."
