"Protector?" Jada said. She laughed light and repeated the word. "I don't need one of those. I can make it own my own. I'm a big girl. So, let me be." She said as she started to get up from her seat. "No." I said pushing her back down aggressively. "You aren't safe in this world, but you're safe here with me." I said with intensity. So, she stayed in her seat. "Thank you." I sighed with relief. I could tell, my sister had a huge attidude with mom and her so called 'dad'. But still, I could handle her.
"So," I started "lets get right down to business." I told her. She gave me a quick groan and scoffed. I rolled my eyes at her immature behavior.

"Before we get to the violent part of this mess, let me tell you what's happening." I said grabbing files and papers off my desk to show her. "I know you know the basics," I started. "But, there is more to it. As you already know, the programmers have a monthly test to see if people are programmed. And since they don't trust us, they come and check the whole city to check if all of the population is at the testing center or the 'office'" I said using air quotes as I handed Jada a picture of the 'office'.
"Office?" She asked. "That's where your mom executes people and where she injects little chips in people's necks at 3 months old." I said. 'Oh God. Did I just say that out loud?' I thought to myself. And immediately, Jada looked up from the photo with an angry look on her face. "H-h-how d-did y-you kn-now that?" She stuttered. "I know people." I said with a frown.~~~
