Their Celebration

Laughter fills the air
There are smiles all around
You can hear them from the other room
The joy never seems to die down
You can find me in my bedroom
My headphones on and turned full blast
The music hides everything
That is not within my grasp
In a fetal position I sit
My head rests upon my knees
I can hear the cutlery glide along plates
The night is filled with glee
They've forgotten about me
And the world outside their cheers
There is no such thing as sadness
Not is there any tears
