The sky goes dark
The sun has disappeared
The stars are nowhere to be seen
And the moon has ran away
The light flickers
Providing us with barely any light
We hear beings creeping around us
And yet there is no screaming to be heard
We walk in darkness
With no idea where we're headed
We walk in silence
Afraid that we will catch Its attention
We feel our hearts pulsing
Eager to explode
Our breaths are ragged
And the aching in our minds devour us
But when the sun awakens
We seek shelter
We do not dare run
And as we see Its shadow lurking around
We realise that this has only just begun
