Chapter 10: The Vampire Hierarchy

Allysa's POV

"B.....Brother?", I muttered. It can't be. So it means that that whole day I'm hanging out with a monster?

"Manloloko", sumbat ni Adrian. "That gangster idiot is not a vampire. Kung bampira siya edi nalaman ko na sa una naming pagkikita! Alam kong alam mo yan Ramzes"

TSSSSSSSSS!

In just a blink of my eye, wala na si ramzes sa tabi ko. Nasa harap na siya ni Adrian, piercing his long sharp claws in his stomach.

"He's my brother, I know every single inch about him more than you do. He's not a vampire, but he's also not a human. Who the hell gave you the permission to speak?"

"Adrian!", Sigaw ni Brian.

My eyes widened. Lumabas ang maraming dugo sa kaniyang tiyan at bibig. Ngayun ko lang nalaman na ang mga bampira ay may mga dugo. How can it happen if they don't have a heart?

Ramzes smirked. "Watch out who you're talking to, commoner!"

"Oy, oy, oy. That's not how Lords treat common vampires, Ramzes"

Tumingin kami kung saan nanggaling ang boses. Someone came out of the shadows. Mayroon siyang puting buhok, mapayat, may matangos na ilong, at kulay asul na mga mata.

Damn it, I don't want to accept this fact. But vampires were gorgeous and good-looking.

There was a slashing sound as Ramzes pulled out his claws on Adrian's stomach. Mas maraming dugo pa ang lumabas sa kaniyang bibig.

"Vampire Lord Cain, I know that you have an annoying teleportation ability, but I will never accept you coming inside my lair without my permission!"

Cain looked at Ramzes eye to eye without even changing a single emotion from his face.

"Sorry, Supremo's orders"

With a snap of fingers, a bright red light came from Cain's fingers. Pumikit lang si Kevin, parang alam na niya ang mangyayari pagkasunod nito.

"Cain you bastard!", Ramzes roared.

I heard some weird spiral-like sounds. Matapos ang ilang segundo huminto din ito. Unti-unti kong binuksan ang aking mga mata.

My eyes widened. Now I'm inside a room. Sa pagkaalala ko nasa underground vampire city kami. A teleportation ability is no joke. Ano pa kaya ang mga ability ng iba pang mga bampira.

Sa isang tingin, malalaman mo nang pangmayaman ang lahat ng gamit sa kwartong ito. It's like a royal room from the 1980's. Nasa tabi kong nakaluhod din si Kevin at sa tabi niya si Ramzes. I dunno kung bakit kami lang tatlo ang nandito. Wala sina Brian, Adrian, at mga guard.

In front of us is a girl sitting on an office chair. The two beside me is bowing their heads, like this girl in front of us is from the top of the heirarchy. Sa mesa nito ay nakasulat ang salitang "supremo". Sa pagkakatanda ko sa student's guide namin, supremo ang tawag sa principal ng vampire university. It's the first time I see her in person.

"Good job bringing them to me, Lord Cain. Your ability is very convenient. Now you can leave the four of us alone. I need a private talk with these three. Gracias."

A deep, hoarse voice. So this long haired someone in front of us is a man?!

Mas maganda pa buhok niya sakin.

"My pleasure, Supremo", Cain said while bowing to him. Agad siyang lumakad palabas ng pinto. I glanced at him and he looked back with his red eyes. Agad kong iniwas ang tingin ko sa kaniya.

The Principal took a sip of red wine in his champagne. He let out a sigh of relief.

"Mr. Kevin Ravena, barging through the front gate and destroying it with a car"

I looked at Kevin, he is so composed. Pero halatang natatakot siya dahil sa mabilis niyang paghinga. Now I get it, I think he'll be punished.

"Ms. Allysa Mendez"

Napalunok ako ng laway ng binanggit ng Principal ang pangalan ko. His deep voice alone can make your heart race rapidly.

"P...po?", I said slowly.

"What the hell are you day students doing at night?"

My eyes widened. Nanginginig na ang mga kamay ko. Ngayon ko lang naalala si Cheska. I don't know what happened to her.

An idea came to my mind, maybe I should tell him that the night students were bloodthirsty monsters!

Umusbong ng kaunti si Kevin palapit sakin at bumulong. "Answer him Ally, the man in front of you is the Vampire King"

V....Vampire King?!

Ngayun alam ko na bakit kinakabahan din si Kevin. Our lives is in grave danger! This is not just a normal school guidance counseling, this is more like a judgement court.

I cleared my throat. "S...Sinamahan ko lang a...ang kaibigan k...kong si Cheska na mag tour sa school sa gabi"

The Vampire King let out a devilish laugh. "A tour? Or to find out the monster that sucked out her blood dry?"

Mas lalong bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. It's as if this man know everything. Everything what happened in the school, our locstions, our names, our thoughts. He knew everything!

Does the Vampire King have a God-like ability?

Napalunok ako ng laway. "Im accepting any consequences, just.... spare our lives"

He let out a devilish laugh again. "No, I won't kill you. The one you've commited is just a minor offence. But, you have to choose: To keep the secret of the university, or I'll use one of my ability to remove your memories relating to vampires"

"I...I'll keep it as a secret", I answered. I'm aware that gossiping about what I know would literally means death. But I have to choose this, and I'll discover the secret of the university myself. I really want to leave this room right now.

"See the rings on your ring fingers"

I looked at my right hand. There's a black ring there with draconic carvings in it. It is quite glossy with three rubies in the upper part of it. Di ko maalala kung paano ito napunta dito. Maybe it's the Vampire King's doing. But I wonder if magkano kaya pag isangla to.

"You will be suspended in the university for a day. With the rings, if you will be 10 meters away from each other, or if you do the things that you shouldn't, a signal will be sent to the rings and you will feel excruciating pain, or even death"

My heart is now racing violently. I hardly can breath dahil sa narinig ko. Now I get it. This is to make the violators be together and suffer the consequences together. But I hate the fact that I'm gonna be with this gangster again. Buong araw pa talaga.

Ramzes laughed. "HAHAHAHAH my poor little brother will suspended again? I'm not shocked at all! You loser, you idiot, you worthless, you son of a b-"

"Also you Ramzes Ravena. For unlawfully abducting and trying to drink from someone's host"

Ramzes' eyes widened. He slowly looked at his right hand, realizing that he also had the ring in his finger.
