This book is not solely based on the Lord of the Rings movies, but also on the book(s). If you are confused as to why certain events are or are not happening, this is why. I want to include both in my writing. I will obviously have my own spin on this, because I am adding a character that does not exist within the real life books written by J. R. R. Tolkien.
