I have to do a winter sport. In 6th grade I wanted to try cheering, I don't make it.
In 7th grade I tried out again, I made B team. Cheering was hard at first. I was a flyer and then turned into a base. I had a really mean coach and when we went into competition we got first place. It was really annoying because she would swear all the time. Saying stuff like we aren't good enough. We would have to practice every day and even on weekends. It would last about 3-4 hours. It was hard because we could rarely skip practice and the homework was adding up. I honestly hated it. I couldn't quit and my school grades made cheering worse because I kept on getting letters saying I would have to raise my grade otherwise in 2 weeks I would get kicked off.
Cheering in 7th grade was hard because that's how you got judged. All the popular girls do cheering. I am so not popular. That's a fact. During cheering everyone had been talking bad about everyone and it wasn't good. Our team wasn't really a team. Just being forced to work together.
This year my parents are forcing me to choose a winter sport. I would love to do basketball, but there are way to many people signing up. Also my parents think that I should stick with cheering. I know that if I make b team I am quitting. If I make A then I will follow out through the season. I just signed up for cheering today. Tryouts are next week Wednesday Thursday and Friday. If you guys want me to I could write about the tryouts and what we have to do, also I don't know if I should skip riding or cheering. Plz give me your thoughts! Thanks
