Also known as a pinto. The breed got it's name from the Spanish word for painted, (pintado) and it's good description. It's further defined as Overo or Tabiano.
Overo is usually a dark coat with splashes of white and is most commonly found in South America. Tabiano is white with large well defined dark patches and is usually found in North America. Stands between 15-16hh.
