body heat and feather duvets are a lightening mix
warmth from without trapped within
tangled in memories of the discovery from childhood
of the newfound glory of adulthood
forehead to forehead, intertwining thoughts
i wish i knew which thought you thought up
the humidity of passionate kisses?
the molten lava of our past fights?
how this doesn't feel right?
there's something missing in this equation
the storm of actual communication
and while we have had dry storms in the past,
now, we're just two bodies sharing warmth
and i'm scared i'll forever be cold
