After yelling to Simon for him not to tell her any more spoilers to Clary's favourite manga, she dashed out of the room and went to Taki's alone to enjoy some tea, maybe. She brought her manga together, planning to drink while reading.

Clary sat on a table meant for two there. A blond waitress came and took her order. "I'll have tea." Clary said gently.

"Tea only? Are you sure, miss?" asked the waitress. Clary nodded and the waitress left.

She began to read the manga, it was the moment Clary was waiting for. The epic fight between Nani-sama and Shin-kun. Not looking up, she felt like someone had put a cup of tea on the table and Clary took the handle of the cup, saying, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." The voice didn't belong to the girl just now, but it wasn't exactly familiar too. It sounded kind and gentleman-like. Clary looked up now, and saw the face of a teenage boy who seemed about her age. He had brown hair and dark blue eyes, so beautiful that she had already decided to draw them at home later.

"Oh, hello there. Um, sorry. I guess that this tea isn't mine?" she said. "I'm Clary-"

"Of course I know who you are! You're Clary Morgenstern! Pleased to meet you." The boy said with a smile. Clary didn't smile back. She was sure everybody who knew her would know that she prefered to be called Clary Fray than Clary Morgenstern. The boy was still looking aher, confused.

"Did I say something wrong? Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Daniel Rysil." he said calmly as he held his left hand out. His left-handed. Jut like Jace, Clary thought. She smiled at him and shook his hand.

"I assumed that there is a reason for you to be here?" she qustioned. Daniel shrugged. "Nope," he said. "Just wanna have a little chat while waiting for my friend to come. If you mind. I see that you're reading a book? May I see it?"

"Oh, it's not really a book. It's a manga." Clary told him. As she saw his confused look, she added, "A manga is like, a Japaneese-"

"I know! I know what manga is, I mean. Just remembered." he said then laughed. "May I see it?"

Clary hesitated to hand her book. She didn't like other people holding her books. She just doesn't like it, but she nodded and gave it to him in the end.

Daniel examined it with interest, first the cover, then the contents. "I thought manga was in Japaneese." he said.

"It is. But this one was translated. I don't really understand Japaneese, you see."

The boy nodded and handed the manga to her. He smiled. "Wanna come to my friend's party soon? You look enough dressed to me."

She stared at him. Then found herself nodding and saying, "Sure. I have nothing to do now. Well, except reading."
