The rest of the night was spent with her boss next to the table talking with Mary and with her of course.

"Excuse me, Carter but I got to dance," Mary said and left them alone.

Mary didn't mind to call him with his first name. Amy wished to have this comfort too.

As for Elicia, she had been lost, kissing her Alladin guy.

"Would you like to dance, Amy?"

"Me...well...ok."

They stood up and went on stage. Before they started dancing, they both were looking at each other intensely. Then his hands circled her waist and led her to dance.

It was a ballad so they were slowly moving. Her hands were around his neck and their body started closing to each other.

The only thing she was focused on was his eyes. He was a little older than her. He was a mature man with a ravishing face and body.

"You're quiet," he said.

"What would you like me to say?"

"I'm not sure."

"What's the reason?"

"I guess I'm dancing with one of my maids, instead of chasing Claudia, so there is one main reason; I like being with you."

She tried to assess his unreadable features. This wasn't going to be a simple conversation. It was a fact she wanted his touch but many things would forbid it.

Basically he was going to get married.

It was the fact that Sarita trusted her when she hired and that would only show how disrespectful she was.

Last but not least, she had no idea what he was thinking about her. He just threw the bomb he liked being with her. This was definitely to be questioned.

"I...I like being with you too."

"Really?"

"Yes. I admire you as a strong personality, who is always focused on his job, being perfect in...in almost everything."

Maybe she said too much, she thought, cause he stared speechless. Her cheeks burned in embarrassment.

"It's quarter past twelve! Time to go, girls!" Mary shouted cause the music was louder.

"Where is Elicia?" Amy asked as she was trying to see her.

"There!" Mary showed to the left side of the stage where Elicia was still kissing the Alladin guy.

"I'll go to tell her we're leaving. Carter, it was nice meeting you. We should do it again! Without the bimbo."

"Mary!" Amy said to scold her.

"It's ok, Amy. She's right." Carter said.

"I'm sorry again about her mouth. You see when she likes a person, she forgets her manners."

"That sounds positive. Listen. You and Elicia are coming with me. There's no point bringing your friend to the Hills."

"Oh. All right."

They said their goodbyes with Mary but Elicia was completely wasted, so Carter and Amy had to carry her to the car.

"Let her to me. She's very heavy for your waist," he said.

"No, it's ok."

When they arrived back home, Elicia was mumbling 'Alladin' the whole time. They put her in her bed and Carter left her to undress her.
