The black reptile is found running around the property, just around the tree line. He would run around at incredible speeds, then stop abruptly to smell the ground, then the air, and start again. It is very entertaining to watch as I sit on the grass with my back is against Levi's head.

His eyes are closed, but I know he is alert, listening to every sound and smelling every scent. The cute bunny, which I named Marshmallow, is sleeping on my lap as I watch Archer in the distance. He looks both relaxed and tense, relaxed because he is free from the confinement of his concrete and metal jail but anxious as he has never been out before. Being trapped all his life was very detrimental to his mental health.

"I need you to feed you guys," I speak more to myself, but I am sure Levi heard me. His eyelids open to reveal his amber eye, staring right at me as I lay right behind it, to the side. It is a never-ending pool of orange and yellow fire that expressed more expressions than your normal animal. "You are my smart boy, aren't you?" I slowly caress the soft, small scales under his eye. His secondary eyelid, the transparent one, closes, and he starts purring. "Yes, you are," I praise him.

A loud, happy whine grows in his throat, and he proceeds to roll on his back. I stand up and take a few steps away from him to make sure he won't hit me by accident as he contorts his body from side to side, letting the grass and dirty scratch his back.

He does that for about one minute when suddenly his body turns into a statue, followed by a shadow looming over me. I turn around and see a tired-looking Archer. The golden stripe going down his neck is all dirty with mud as well as his snout. He stands in all fours, and he still has to look down at me.

I notice his eyes are trained on the small buddle of fur in my arms, making me cover him more with my arms and press him more to my chest. I know he won't take anything in my hands and arms, but he will lunge at it once it is no longer touching me.

A low growl comes from behind me, from Levi. I turn my head just enough to see he has rolled over and is crouching in a strike position.

"Archer," I catch his attention since he has his eyes locked on Levi. "This is Marshmallow. Marshmallow, this is Archer. He is Levi's very distant cousin, and hopefully, your new friend. So, Archer, no eating Marshmallow," I give him a pointed look. Instead of the look of hunger, his eyes hold curiosity as he stares down at the fluff in my arms.

He lowers his head to smell Marshmallow, then Levi lets out a loud, warning roar and strikes. He leaps over me, making me stand under him in shock as he continues to let thunderous growls at Archer. His lips curl menacingly, a clear warning not to test him.

Archer is taken by surprise, just like me, as he jumps back and stands in a defensive pose. However, once he notices Levi isn't going to attack unless he did, he slowly steps back before turning around and running off.

The ball of fur in my arms shakes from fright as I try to calm down both of us. Levi continues his warning growls until Archer is at a reasonable distance from the three of us.

"L-Levi," My voice, barely over a whisper, breaks from my shaken state. His growls immediately stop, and he then looks down at me. A loud whine resonates from his throat once he notices my shaking form. My frightened state is unintentional, I know he would never hurt me intentionally, but it is a scary thing to witness nonetheless. "I'm going inside."

I say in a small voice before turning and hastily walking to my house. Levi whines once more but makes no move to stop or follow me, for which I am thankful. I open the front door and close it behind me, finding Damon watching TV as he lays lazily on the couch.

"I swear if we didn't live far away from neighbors, we would have the police and national guard come here from how loud that roar was. I was almost sure you were eaten," He says, not taking his eyes from the screen.

Wanting to surprise him with my new friends and possible pet, I skip my way over to him before plopping down next to him. I release Marshmallow from my hold, letting him fall from my arms to Damon's lap.

He continues to stare at the TV, glancing once at the white furball on his lap, then back at the screen. Then, finally, he takes a couple of seconds to realize what is on him.

"Is it a bunny?" He removes his hands from his pockets and gently cradles the small creature to his chest.

"No, it's Levi's offspring. Of course, it's a bunny dumbass!" I slap his shoulder playfully.

"Sorry to ask, I just thought this was some kind of bunny-dinosaur hybrid or something, you do have two Indo hybrids," He says in a mocking, defensive tone.

"Which are clearly discerned by any common person- You know what, you are too dumb," I take Marshmallow from him and go to the kitchen to find some food for him to eat.

-----------

I tried my best to make a territorial Levi. Yes, they are "friends" now, but some stuff has boundaries.

I'll try to make one or more chapters before I finish this story. Thank you for reading up to now.
