I was compelled to start up a conversation with Tsukasa as I felt bad for ignoring him all day "Sooo, Tsukasa? What were you doing before the whole petrified thing went down?".

Tsukasa's face seemed to light up, happy that someone was talking to him and was eager to answer back "Well, I was actually getting prepared for a match that day I spent the day training".

It wasn't the most interesting answer but the one that made the most sense. I still wished the answer was a bit more interesting since I didn't know what else to talk about with him. Tsukasa seemed to notice my disappointment so he decided to speak again "I guess it doesn't sound very interesting when you sum it up like that. Well, I should tell you it wasn't just any normal match that day it was actually an important one. I spent that morning getting interviewed by reporters afterward I went to eat at a fancy restaurant with my sponsors".

"What kind of restaurant did you go to?" I asked. "Hmm, I'm not sure it was just some fancy restaurant like usual" Tsukasa answered. Like usual? I guess that makes sense, him being a popular boxer and all.

There was a long silence between us until Tsukasa spoke again "So, Y/n? What were you doing when all this went down?". "Well not much I was at school and I was on the rooftop eating lunch when this all went down. You know your typical school day" I answered back.

Although what I answered back wasn't the most interesting thing ever we continued our conversation and got to know a little more about each other like our hobbies or favorite foods. Our conversation was going on for a bit until something caught the corner of my eye. I don't know if it was my imagination but I swear I could see Senku stare at us for a while now and it almost looked like he was annoyed with something.

I tried to ignore it for a bit, but the more I did the more sweaty I became. I also began to fumble my words while I talking to Tsukasa so I decided to stop ignoring it and go and see what was the matter with Senku. I looked back at Tsukasa and told him I would be right back.

I headed towards Senku to see if he was alright and took a seat next to him "Hey? Are you alight Senku? You seem a little annoyed" I asked concerned. Senku looked at me a little surprised as if he was found out or something "Hah? Are you an idiot? What makes you think I'm annoyed?" he answered back annoyed.

Well, that was convincing "Are you sure? You were staring at Tsukasa and me for a while now. Did I do something the wrong?". He put his hand on his neck and looked away almost seeming shy "Look it's really nothing idiot" he said in his normal tone of voice. I look at him still a little concerned but decide to not press him any further and go back to my original place with Tsukasa.

Although Senku said he was fine I swear I could still feel his stare I stop feeling his glare once we were finished with dinner. We cleaned up and everyone except me decided to lock in for the night. It's not like I didn't want to sleep It's more like I couldn't not until Tsukasa fell asleep. Despite having a friendly conversation with Tsukasa I still could not trust him yet. It's not like I wanted to distrust Tsukasa but unlike Taiju, Senku had already known Taiju and already had immense trust in him. Tsukasa was a stranger and a dangerous one at that and not because he was strong but because you couldn't exactly tell what he was thinking.

In the short conversations and interactions, we had together he always had the same expression with a smile that almost seemed fake. Maybe I'm just reading into things too much and not giving Tsukasa much of a chance but...still, I couldn't afford to let my guard down After all I made a promise to Senku. I promised that I would protect you two no matter what!

My thoughts were soon interrupted by a familiar voice that came from behind "Can't sleep? Huh, wild woman". I turn around a little surprised seeing that it was Senku. I let a relieved sigh seeing that it was just Senku being sneaky "What the hell Senku?! It's you just you. You know you should really wear a bell. I could barely hear your footsteps".

I hear Senku let out a little chuckle "You're the one who needs to pay more attention to your surroundings. You're always running around naked in front of guys without a care in the world" Senku says jokingly.

I flush a light red a bit embarrassed "H-Hey that's not my fault. I just happen to space out a lot when I'm relaxed" I say defense. Senku gives me a weird look "Hah? It sounds like excuses. Tell me are all American women like that? Running around naked I mean. Even if you all are, you should still be cautious especially when there's nothing but men around" he said half serious half-jokingly.

I look at him a little offended by his words (not really but ok) "ExCuSe mE, I'm not like this because I'm American I'm just stupid when it comes to people. Besides it's not like it matters after all Taiju's a Gentleman and you-well you just seem to lack any of your boy hormones".

Senku looked a little bit annoyed by my response "Well maybe we won't do anything but you never know the kind of people we'll revive will". I look at Senku a little confused he wasn't one to care about these kinds of things. I put a hand over my mouth while looking at Senku gasping a little "My my Senku I never knew you cared so much and here I thought you were some kind of robot" I say teasingly at him.

Senku still looked somewhat annoyed but couldn't help but crack a smile. He gets up and starts heading towards the treehouse, hinting me to follow him.

I was still hesitant to go back inside and sleep. Senku saw the worry in my face and decided to say something "Look you don't have to worry about us being killed during our sleep, Tsukasa doesn't show any hostility as of yet...so come inside already". I still felt a little uneasy "But-". I suddenly feel Senku grab a hold of my arm, dragging me up, before I could muster up any words Senku says something that put me at ease without trying to look back at me "Look you won't solve anything being worried and deprived of sleep. So if Tsukasa does act you won't be able to defend...., besides you're always in the middle of me and Taiju when we're sleeping so if he tries anything you and that big oaf will be able to protect each other". I couldn't help but smile at Senku's words. Although he couldn't see me, I nodded and followed after him happily.

Hey bitches I'm back! And I listen I apologize for not updating ina long time you see I just lost a lot of motivation and was too busy with school work. I also don't like to update without editing my stuff and now since some schools have closed we're gonna be busy with online classes. I also so don't have WiFi and barely got hotspot paid for so thing we'll be difficult for me to do for now on.Sorry if this chapter was shit I'm a bit rusty since it's been a while the next update maybe during the weekend. Anyways i hope you all are safe and healthy and informed since some info out there is meant to scare you.
