Draco and Harry walked in a while later, one sporting a grin, the other sporting a very dark scowl. They sat on their different tables and began to load their plates with food.
"Why all of a sudden are you all buddy buddy with Malfoy?" Whined Ron
"If hexing him is being buddy buddy then I don't know what you mean" replied Harry.
"Nice!" cheered Ron clapping Harry in the back.
"Don't be so violent Harry" scolded Hermione scowling at Harry.
Harry dipped his head and pretended to be sorrowful but Ron gleeful expression made him burst into laughter.
The female Gryffindor shook her head in defeat and returned back to her dinner.
"What is it with you and Potter lately" enquired Blaise. Draco shoved the Italian and shovelled a potato hash into his mouth. He tried to keep his dark, annoyed look but that look melted away as the hash slid down his throat,
"Mmm, what's up with the food today?" he asked, stuffing a few more hashes into his mouth. Blaise laughed and said smugly,
"Our table is inhabited by pure-blood and rich kids, we eat only the best."
Draco rolled his eyes and stuffed another hash into his mouth moaning at the good taste,
"But normally the food is shit." grumbled Draco, elbowing Blaise. The Italian laughed.
"Besides. What would I want with that half blood freak" commented Draco carefully, acting like he didn't care. Pansy nodded and glared in Harry's direction.
"He, the blood traitor and that disgusting mudblood are all freaks" Pansy screeched, earning a chuckle from the Slytherin's around them. Draco laughed with them but he wasn't really in it. He was trying to control himself from ripping Pansy's throat out and feeding it to Fang
"I'm gonna go" said Draco finally, pushing back from the table and heading out the door.
Pansy and Blaise gazed after him curiously but said nothing of it.
