Over the course of a few days, Damon's progress with the spell- Fire wall, became much easier to handle. He could now conjure it without needing to imagine how big to make it. However, he still needed help with blending "Fire Wall" with "Fire Room", a Rank B, Level 12 spell. Blending spells allow mages to cast similar spells together, enhancing their effects.

Fire Wall (Rank A), Fire Room (Rank B), Ruby Aura (Rank C), Molten Cage (Rank D), and Red Glass (Rank E), are all spells within the fire element that can protect the mage from attacks. If a mage is successful in blending all five together, they're encased in a ruby, glass-like cage that emits transparent flames that hurts those outside of the cage. Though simple looking and could easily pass off as a Rank C spell, the blending of all five spells enhances the defense to nearly S rank. Well not really, the closest one could get would be a Rank A, Level 12 defense.

S rank was unheard of, but (y/n) did it with such ease. Damon had invited him to join in on the A-rank classes, acting as Damon's tutor. During their first class, each student was tested on the fire spell they chose to practice blending. After witnessing a few students' spells, (y/n) was quick to cancel out their spells with the opposing element Water. He pointed out how their concentration was an issue and had he not canceled their spells, the entire room would've gone up in flames despite being fireproof.

Intrigued by (y/n)'s remark, Damon's teacher asked him if he could show the class how to successfully blend spells together. There were thousands of spells to choose from, so Damon asked (y/n) if he could show him what a successful blending of the five spells (mentioned earlier) would look like. Some of the A ranks were still confident that (y/n) wasn't that strong and was waiting for him to make a fool of himself.

Your pov

"Alright. Hanami, stay with Damon for now." I said, Hanami looked up at me, before hopping away to snuggle into Damon's silver viper, who flickered his tongue in happiness. Closing my eyes I sighed, stretching out my hand, I flicked my hand up, casting "Red Glass*. A transparent red wall appeared before me, materializing in front of my hand, until it was a few inches thick. Using my free hand I casted the next spell- "Molten Cage". Beneath my feet, the floor started to shake, as bars of flowing lava encased me.

Merging the two spells together, the glass melted from the lava, before cracking. The Glass now red and a hot liquid merged with the lava before I was encased in a black, shiny material. Otherwise, known as Obsidian. The defense was now of D rank, moving on I added the spell-" Ruby Aura". which in turn, turned the obsidian into a ruby cage that glittered from the scattered sunlight from outside. Adding the fourth spell- "Fire room", the ruby was ignited with transparent flames, that licked the sides of the walls. Yet were harmless, for now. Adding the last spell, "Fire Wall", which though seems weaker than fire room, adds physical damage to the barrier.

With the addition of the last spell, I merged the five together, the shield growing in size, the inner layer a dark ruby-like shell, with the outer layer of a glass-like sheen with glowing, transparent red flames. Checking the defense level, it was an S rank, Level 1 defense.

Erasing the spells from my thoughts, the ruby shell shattered, turning to nothing. Looking back at everyone, people were speechless. Merging or rather, Blending spells was hard to do. All spells have similar properties, but for many, it's just a bit too hard to figure out.

(And now after that confusing description, here's a short of Arian the silver viper and Hanami the dango playing together.)

Arian's pov

Seeing the three named, Hanami, hop up and down was so cute. Arching my back and tail so that they could slide down, I noticed that Matcha tried to hop up. But his tiny wings only allowed him to lift off the ground a tiny bit before plopping right back down. Yuki shook his head, hopping off of my head, he picked up Matcha, who rolled off of my back and onto the floor. I quickly bent down to see if he was alright, but he seemed, fine? Upside down, he flapped his wings to get up but was stuck. Laughing to myself, I nudged him over, helping him get up. Snuggling into him, he purred a little, before hopping up on top of me, and pushing Yuki off, who rolled back down.

Matcha and Yuki fought, while Ichigo sat idly by on my head. They're all so cute!
