I had been wanting a new game for a while. My gaming group, D.I.C.E., wanted an RPG to play so I figured that the new game about making your own medieval-like kingdom would be cool. You could make guilds and stuff so it'd be perfect for D.I.C.E. So after waiting a week until I got my pay from the only good thing in my life (my wonderful waiter job I still love) and headed over to my local game shop. My grandparents weren't around. They went to see a movie for their 50 year anniversary or something like that.

Anyway, I greeted the man at the counter. He was one of two employees on for the night and I knew him well. I looked for the game and when I found it, disappointment overcame me. ¥7000. What the frick? I thought I got enough for it. I decided to ask the man about the game but when I walked over there was only a teen. He wore a black hat and had a bruise on his hand. The most memorable part was his golden eyes, piercing into my soul.

"What's up?" He asked, not looking up from his phone.

"I j-just have a q-question about t-this new game..." I had a stuttering problem. I put the box on the counter.
