its 10pm and the boys had arrived home with jungkook nearly jumping on namjoon who caught him like a little snowflake
jungkook went to hug hobi, receiving a very tight tight hug, but then he went to yoongi who walked past him,
the confused and hurt jungkook stared at yoongi who went to the dinner table, not saying a single word.
jin, tae, and jimin figured it out when hoseok sent them a text during the car ride
they decided to cover up for him, seeing jungkooks hurt expression
"hey hey dont worry about him okay bahy." jin hugged jungkook patting his head softly.
"yeah, he just-.. he missed his shot at sniping and hes really disappointed in himself.." hoseok bit his lip, having to lie was too hard for him, but he just had to do it
"he missed a shot? is it that bad? when he misses a shot?" jungkook sounded a little hurt but nonetheless understood a bit as he leaned in to jin's touch
"yes babe, being a sharp shooter and missing a shot really hurts a mans pride." namjoon sighed kissing jungkooks cheek.
"will he be alright?" jungkook pouted.
"yeah he will, well just have to give him a little space before he could regain himself again." jimin came up from behind jungkook to tickle the boy softly.
atleast jungkook is smiling now, "okay okay okay hyungs.. im hungry like really hungry." jungkook whined.
"what was that baby boy? hungry? for what?" jimin leaned in, lifting jungkook's chin up.
this flustered the boy to the extent, he hesitated before shying away.
"jimin.." jin grumbled.
"come bun, get on my back." hoseok offered, the little boy got on, getting a piggy back ride from his hyung who made him laugh when he ran to the table.
the dinner was full of jokes and laughter, "okay okay okay- how does- how does a penguin build its house?"
the boys groan, jungkook clapping with excitement, "how hyung?"
"igloos it together." and then a loud laugh, jimin laughed along, the boys laughing at how bad it was.
"no more jokes jin hyung please." namjoon begged for mercy. his ears couldnt take it anymore.
the only one that didnt laugh was yoongi. well, he never did laugh at jins jokes
the quiet tension was noticeable to jungkook who stared across at yoongi for any reaction of some sort. but all he got was dullness. really quiet dullness
"yoongi h-hyung?" jungkook forgot the part about giving space that he just couldnt help himself
