Shuanghui POV

"Xiao Rui," I said softly, he was still looking away from me, I let out a small sigh "go take a shower and I'll pour the tea" he still didn't say anything but he did move, sliding off his bed and to his wardrobe grabbing a change of clothes before walking into his on-suite bathroom with an unreadable expression on his face, I poured the tea before looking around his room at some of the books he has when he comes out the bathroom with no shirt on, I stared at him holding one of his books in my hand, I cleared my throat looking away "need help" I mumbled "with your hair" I added after

"No, I'm ok," he said, I glanced at him as he walked over to a cupboard, pulling out a top and shrugging it on, he looked over at me and I looked back at the book in my hand "why are you looking at that?" He questions drying his hair with the blow dryer

I looked up at him placing the book back on the shelf "maybe I'm curious about my husband's interests"

He looked away a slight blush on his cheeks "you won't find much about me with that" he mumbled glancing out the window

"Oh really" I smirked "so you have no interest in animals despite the 4 or 5 books you have around the room amongst all the other books for your father's line of work" I stated more than a question

He looked over to me "There's..." he started then frowned "no I don't, just leave my books alone or I won't be able to find them when I need to"

I smirked "so if I did this" switching two books around "it will make it harder on you?" I questioned

He turned off the blow dryer and walked over to where I was pushing me out of the way "yes so don't do that" he said as he put the books back where they where

I walked over to his desk "everything looks too easy for you" I said rearranging most of the things on his desk before he shoves me out of the way again

"Stop it" he demands anger in his voice as he raised it putting the things back

"Stop what," I said leaning closer "if you don't keep it down then you will disturb your mother"

He turned around to face me with a glare, smirking at the blush on his cheek that rose from the closeness "it's your fault" he grumbles out

"Then should I help you stay quiet" I whispered into his ear as I moved closer again

His cheeks were practically glowing as he shook his head "n...no" he stuttered out "just leave my books alone"

I smiled and stroked his cheek before turning around and picking up a cup of tea before passing it to him "drink while it's still warm"

"My hair's still wet" he complained taking the cup from me slowly

I picked up the hair dryer and sat on the bed as he watched my every move probably to make sure I don't mess with his stuff again "drink and I'll dry your hair" he loomed at me before walking over and kneeling down on the floor between my legs his back to me, I gently brushed my fingers through his hair as I dried it, he hummed softly as he sipped the tea I gave him, I stopped as he reached out to put the cup back before continuing his head lolling to the side and onto my knee, my fingers gently combing his hair as I made sure each strand was dry, once I finished I put the dryer down and gently brushed his hair from his face looking down at the dosing man his cheeks red from the heat of the dryer "where's the hair tie" I asked as I looked over his delicate features, he held up his arm to show a black band on his wrist so I slid it of lifting his head while I loosely tie his hair back "there we go all done" I said gently patting his shoulders before picking him up to his feet as I stood up "come on get into bed"

He grumbled but climbed onto his bed as I put the teacup back onto the tray with the rest, "don't touch my stuff" he mumbled from where he lay his eyes on me

I put my hands up in surrender "sure thing Xiao Rui I won't touch your stuff, I stay here all night"

He glared at me, which was only cute because he was half asleep still "you can touch the bed"

"What about you?" I questioned with a smirk getting another blush on his cheeks

"I'll kick you out," he said turning to face the other way

I chuckled pulling the tie from my neck and undoing some of the buttons so they were looser "I should have remembered clothes" I mumbled before carefully climbing over Xiao Rui to the other side of the bed making sure I don't touch him

smirking at him as his eyes met mine "why didn't you walk around?"

I shrugged and hovered my hand over his cheek before pulling it back as he watched my hand retreat before his eyes reached mine again "what if you touch me?" I questioned

"I'll still kick you out" he mumbled half-heartedly and tiredly, I smiled and pulled the blanket over him before helping Xing up who was attempting to get onto the bed, he wasn't as small as before but still couldn't get up

"Your daddy is mean to me Xiao Xing" I whispered rolling onto my side as the dog curls up between us, I look at Mengrui who has now fallen asleep "sleep well" I whispered stroking his cheek and watching him sleep until I fall asleep myself
