Alicia had been working as much as she could since the Civil War ordeal, once Clint came home she couldn't continue working for Tony she had been trying her best to be polite to everyone and to Tony but she couldn't deal with constant glances that people kept giving her once Clint was locked in the raft. Without her job to keep her preoccupied Alicia had become bored very quickly, following the same routine every day at home was starting to become tedious, without Tony's different antics every day the woman was going insane.
"Well, why don't' you go back to Tony."
Looking over her shoulder Alicia glares at her husband "No, because he put you in an awful place and I'm mad at him" turning back around she continues to clean the dishes.
"Well you need to get over it, I have" feeling Clint wrap his arms around her waist "and I know you're bored, you know Cooper, Lila and I will be fine."
Dropping the dish back into the sink full of water Alicia turns and wraps her arms around Clint's neck "I'm not that bored but Tony has a new protege and I really don't want to move everything out the tower or babysit a teenager."
Laughing at his wife Clint leans down and kisses her forehead "just go to the compound and see him, you never know what could happen."
Nodding her head Alicia leans up and kisses her husband before she could try anything more the sound of a crying baby fills the house. Pulling away from Clint she pats him on the chest and makes her way out of the kitchen and up the stairs, walking down the hallway she reaches the room with the pink L on the door, pushing it open she is welcomed to the red face of her baby girl.
"My sweet Lila, what's the matter?"

Walking into the Avengers facility Alicia feels all of the wandering eyes fall upon her. Trying to ignore them all she tries her best to avoid looking at anyone in the eyes knowing that shouldn't be able to cope with the judgemental look they will give her.
Making a beeline for the reception desk she smiles at the sight of Mary who was talking an agent, watching the agent turn around and notice Alicia they walk away not wanting to be seen with her. Sighing Alicia leans against the reception desk and smiles at Mary "hello, Mary."
"Hello, Alicia" Mary greets looking away from the agent "Here to see Tony?"
Nodding her head Alicia smiles down at the receptionist "I'm bored and Tony loves me so how can he refuse."
Laughing at the women Mary picks up the phone and dials a number, not wanting to hear what the woman is going to say Alicia smiles and walks away. Sitting down she looks up and around at all of the agents working and rushing past her, she soon starts to feel all of the wandering eyes falling upon her once again. Shaking her head Alicia knows she should never have come back standing up from the seat Alicia adjusts her skirt and makes her way towards the entrance of the compound before she can reach the door she feels a hand on her shoulder.
"Where are you going A?" turning around Alicia comes face to face with Happy, opening her arms she hugs the big man.
"I've missed you Happy," Alicia says into his shirt, closing her eyes Alicia can't help but smile.
Wrapping his arms around the women Happy reciprocates her hug "Tony's waiting for you" pulling away Happy holds Alicia out at arm's length and looks into her eyes "are you ready to be his babysitter once again."
Laughing at him Alicia nods her head "let's do it."
Following Happy Alicia can't help but feel nervous, this was the second time she was going back to Tony and asking for her job back. But this time it was different this time she was the person having to forgive and forget, she was set on not leaving this building until she got her job back. Walking into Tony's office Alicia looks around at all of the junk that had somehow made its way into his office and had started to clutter everything up.
"Well... Well... Well..." Watching the chair at Tony's desk turn around and face her, rolling her eyes Alicia crosses her arms and raises her eyebrow at her friend. "Look who decided to come crawling back."
Pointing her finger at the office door she smiles at him "I mean I could leave and not return."
Standing up Tony shakes his head "No, No. Please stay... I've become an unorganised mess without you," he says while gesturing around at all of the mess she wasn't around to organise.
It is a new year and I haven't updated with an actual chapter since November (or October I can't remember) but I tried to make this chapter longer than some of the other chapters in this part.
The next chapter will hopefully be when the snap happens because the final part will start with chapter 26. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with the snap and who will be dusted. But I hope this chapter was a nice little filler.
Obviously, I haven't read through this chapter if something doesn't make sense please let me know and I will try and fix it as soon as possible. (I HAVE FINALLY READ THROUGH THIS IF ANYTHING DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW)
