To say Logan was confused would be a major understatement
he hasnt even seen these two for a year and a half
much less given them a reason to care about him like this
and even despite all of this
he felt safe
he felt like he was finally home after being away, even if he was never been here to begin with

"guys, Im f-fine, You dont have to worry about m-"
"Shut up Logan, We all know thats complete and utter bullshit"
Deceit cut off Logan, his voice laced with so many emotions Logan couldnt even find two
"Yea, if you where fine then we wouldnt have found you jumping into the pit of lost memories!"
Remus said, seemingly holding back a sob
"i-i just"
Logan wanted to explain what happened, but the words just wouldnt come out
his emotions where like a tangled chain the had been discarded so many times that it looked and seemed impossible to fix
"you just what!? wanted to give up? well guess what Logan, we dont get to give up! Thomas may not be alive bu-"
"Shut up deceit! He's alive! sure he hasn't shown any sign's of it in two years, but he'll be okay! he- he has to be, or else this is all my fault.."
Logan had been telling himself for the past 2 years that everything would be okay
that Thomas would be okay
"hun,,, He may still be alive, but even at that
he's not almost fatality ingured
its Totally not like you cant see out of one of your eyes"
"speaking of which hows that doing?"
Remus showed genuine concern while asking
"i-  when did you both become so caring?"
Logan was in shock
he'd been shown so much kindness, concern or not, it was almost enough to bring him to tears
"when did you become to emotional? last i checked you could make out every emotion"
deciet let the sarcasm sink in as he gave a slight smirk
"pft-  fair point i suppose"
Logan couldn't help but let out a content sigh
at least these two didnt hate him

"speaking of changes! I like what you did with your hair!! you should let me do it sometime!"
remus said, finally bringing up the fact that in the past two years Logan hadnt exactly cut his hair
"yea its not like you would probably light it on fire like you did mine when we, er, Thomas was a kid"

Logan just took in the fact that they hadn't exactly moved him in the time he had been out
"oh yea, we remembered to move you once we had caught you bu the way"
as they all continued to talk Logan heard some familiar voices approaching far to quickly for his liking
"we have to go,"
"what why, i do see a reason?"
"its the others, we have to go no-"
"oh hun, they could have gotten that much worse, right?"

"Hi there Lolo!"
said a far to happy Patton
"we came here to get you, i convinced Patton here to let me deal with you the way i planned~"
Logans grip on deceits sleve only got tighter and deceit definitely noticed
as well as Remus
"well then dear brother, im tootally not sorry to disappoint, buuutt i have some deodorant id like to get back to and to hurry this alon-"
"you are definitely going to be going back with him"
deceit cut off, his voice dripping with venom
"excuse me? I dont remember him asking you fucking snake"
Virgil said, his once purple eyes a dark grey and filled with hatred
"well i do to"
deceit no had a hold on Logan that he wasnt intending of letting loose
"i do know what you all havent done to him, but there isnt no way your getting him after it"
deciet stated, his golden eye giving off a bright glow
"now now snakey boy, you wouldnt wanna make your dad mad now would you? we all know how it goes when we fight"
Patton said, his piercing torquiose eyes doing the same
"we will have to if you just back off for once"

"deceit?"
Logan said, tuging lightly on his sleve
"yea hun?"
"can we just go, i- i jus-"
"shut up Logic!!"
roman said, seemingly on his last nerve
"You don't get to be okay after what You, did to Thomas!!"
"Excuse me?!"
Roman had seem to hit a nerve in Remus
"You dont get to say that to him!!"
"why not you garbage Rat?!"
"cause you your Royal Fucking Highness, are the reason he crashed the car in the first place! and i dont see you trying to help me open up the dream space to get Thomas out of this damn comma!"
Remus was done
done with his brother
done with the lights
done with qll of this

he grabbed Logans wrist, knowing full well deceit would follow close behind
he needed to get out of here before things escalated anymore
he almost didnt realise how Logan flinced when he touched him
almost
but decided it best to leave it till later
they headed toward their side of the worn down mind palace
the dark side
despite how Roman always had made it sound, it was actually rater decent on their side

after walking for around half an hour Remus had gotten rather bored
"ugh, are we ever going to be there??"
"well logically I'd have to assume so?"
Logan said, seeming almost unsure of what he said
"i do know we shouldn't have gotten there by now"
"well now, you dont know that now do you?"
said patton, sounding right behind them
Logan froze up
'what do i do, he's gonna take me back, they're gonna punish me for disobeying them, im not safe im not safe im not sa-'
"Logan hun, your are thinking what your saying"
Logan's hand moved up to cover his mouth
"im sorry, that was completely unnecessary..."
Logan looked terrified, weather he would admit it or not
and both Remus and Deceit where beginning to realise why
"patton i suggest you leave"
Said remus, his green eyes momentarily glowing while he summoned a sword similar to roman but with green and silver details
"and i~ suggest you just obey what he said and give us what is ours~"
said Roman while having a momentary red glow after summoning his own sword

"Now now, we all know that you cant undo what ive already done Lolo!!
so i guess we'll still be seeing each other alot!"
said patton, an insane look in his eyes
Deceit came to the realization that this wasn't the happy and cheerful Patton he once know who knew restraint
"what don't the hell you mean"
"well well well snake, he means that we merged the light and dark side of the mind space!"
virgil stepped in, finally showing he was here
"haha! so ill be seeing you later, Lolo~!
patton said while dragging the other two
" we just wanted to let you know, after all, we wouldnt want to strain Thomas' mind more than we already have right?"
Roman was right
but what the hell should they do about Logan?
they obviously wanted him back
but why?
deceit decided to leave it for later
right now they needed to get him home
