Virgil started as he opened his eyes, or at least tried to

but as he reached up
he felt that it was open
then the memories began to overflow his head

he momentarily stopped his screaming as he heard a faint crack from beneath him, or at least it started as faint
he scrambled to get up only to fall through just as he got on his feet

virgil knew who he had heard in an instant
But that couldnt be patton,, he was to,, happy.
and how long had it been since he called him tha-

Virgil flinched at the voice he had grown the fear, regardless of how kind it was

he heard himself say

virgil stumbled back causing him to trip on his foot

virgil scrambled back trying to block out the voices

"STOP IT" virgil managed to get out, voice echoing through the pitch black room he found himself in

virgil let out a sigh of relief as he thought it was over
until he saw it
images of the videos they had all made and the time they all spent together
he heard it

the tears began to prick his eyes and run down his face
they wouldn't stop
it went on for what seemed like hours among hours but at the same time seemed like mere seconds

but then they stopped
everything just, stopped

virgil looked up, his tear stained cheeks now showing
but then he heard the ringing
it was so loud
his hands flew up to his ears in a failed attempt to stop the noise
but somehow
through the ringing, he heard a voice
"virgil?"
The voice he thought he'd never hear again
"virgil!"
he turned around faster than he thought he could
"Thomas-"

and there he was, as clear as day
he began to run towards his host as if his life depended on it
"Wait Vigril don-"

the sound of virgil hitting the invisible wall with full force

"son of a bitc-"
"Virgil! are you okay!?"
Virgil could feel the tears welling up in his eye
"t-thomas?" he said, barley even a whisper
"are you okay? what's going on? i woke up here a few minutes ago and i dont-"
"Thomas! thank god your alive! the others will be so happy!"
Thomas looked shocked
"alive? why wouldn't i be alive, ive only been here for a bit"
Virgil started to stand up, he knew he had to tell him, but how?
he put his hand on the border, taking a deep breath before he began
"Thomas i-   its been two years.."
"what"
"Thomas-"
"How?!"

"whats the last thing you remember?"
Virgil said, thomas scrunched up his face concentration
"well we were driving and you where all,, screaming and then, nothing. why do you ask?"
virgil could feel the tears about to fall
"Thomas, we crashed,"
"no, no we couldnt have-  joan- they,, they were there-  we couldn't"
"Thomas please breathe"
"No! we hurt them! its been two god damned years! how can i be calm?! "
his hand flew up to grip his hair as the other started banging on the border

he was starting to fade
"Thomas please! we will get you out of here!"
he was waking up
"i promise!!"
the last this he heard was Thomas screaming
"Virgil!!"

"God dammit virgil wake up!"
Remus screamed seconds before virgil shot up
"Remus?"
Virgil asked with confusion, he had just heard him
"Remus!?"
this wasnt right
"Remus where the hell are you?!!"
he stood up and looked around, not that it did much to help, it was all just white
"Remus!"
ringing filled the room
Virgils hands flew up to cover his ears
"what in th-"
it grew louder and louder untill not even his own thoughts could be heard
"Virgil wake up!"

Virgil shot up in less than a second
only to be greated with an overwhelming pain in his eye
"Virgil lay down!"
he heard remus say as he felt him push him back down on the ground
"virgil are you okay?" asked a worried deceit who was sitting beside him
"p-patton! wheres patton?!"
"im sorry? Virgil you must be mistaken, patton was never here"
"why dont you just lie down virge"
but then he remembered
"Thomas! Thomas is in the dream space! i was there,, i-i i saw him!!"
everything was quite but the sound of magic coming from Remus
it was then virgil noticed the vision in his eye coming back, only, it was tinted green?
"How okay with having a green eye are you?"
Remus asked, voice slightly wavering
"Hold on" said Remus, processing what Virgil had said
"what do you mean you saw Thomas?!"
