it had been about a week since Logan left the previous light side of the mind space
and since then, he had started to realise how out of touch his Powers had gotten in the past years
and with Logan using them more and more, so had remus and de

"Remus what aren't you trying to start?"
"nothing i just was just wondering if-"
"if you need to ask it must be a great idea"
Deceit said while rolling his eyes
"now, shouldnt we at least let him finish?"
Logan said, closing his book and looking towards the others
"fine"
"Now! i was wondering if we could go to the creativity space and maybee practice our powers?"
as remus spoke he looked down
knowing that he and deceit had done this before
"of course!"
"absolutely not"
deceit and Logan spoke at once
"why do you think thats a good idea? your the side of logic for God sakes-"
"yes, i understand where your coming from but shouldn't we at least try-"
"no! its a horrible idea logan!"
"we need to do it!"
"why!?"
"dont you want to wake Thomas up?!"
as logan finished his sentence it all fell silent
he quickly regained his composure and ran his hand through his hair with a sigh
"please de? if anything goes wrong we'll come back immediately"
"fine"
logan let a smile form on his face
"perfect, we will go there tomorrow and see how long we stay then"
logan said, standing up and walking over to the kitchen
"pft-"
"whats so funny Remus?"
"its just that-  he really can get whatever he wants from you"
Remus said still holding back laughter
"shut up."

"im so sick of you! both of you!! why am i always the one who did something wrong!?"
Virgil was pushed over the edge
he had been for awhile now
"shut you mouth you dirty litt-"
"fuck off!!"
Virgils hands slapped over his mouth
it had been so long since virgil had rasied his voice at anything or anyone, especially Roman
he couldnt help but chuckle, leading to a laugh, leading to hysterical laughter
virgil slowly backed away
fear being the most obvious emotion in his eyes
he didnt care about whatever they where arguing about
he just wanted to fast forward time or anything or-
his thoughts where cut off
as the sharp blade of Romans knife slashed against one of his purple eyes
all was silent
until he screamed
and Roman laughed
the blood was gushing from his now unusable eye
as virgil fell to his knees the tears started pouring from his uncovered eye and the screaming continued
Roman fell back with laughter
close to crying from the lack of oxygen
although that laughter died down as he heard the heavy footsteps coming from the direction pattons room was in
"now what in the ever loving hell could you be screaminh about this late?!"
he said, kicking virgil in the back before even seeing his face
"pft-  the Little bitch stepped in front of my sword while i was practicing!"
the once creative side said, grabbing virgil by his dark matted hair and lifting him up
his previous screams turning to small wimpers, and his hand not once moving from his eye
"well, if your really that stupid,, then maybe we should just let the dark sides deal with you?"
Patton said, his eyes glowing with an evil glint
"wait, what did the sword cut Roman?"
Patton asked, only now noticing the blood dripping down his face and hands
"his eye-"
"well that explains alot"
he responded
but not before virgil saw a glimpse of worry in his eyes, before going right back to the numb and cruel ones he'd come to know
"now now now, lets go virgil!
i would love to see my precious little logie bear!!"
he said smiling and grabbing him from Roman and tossing him toward the door

"and thats why humans should lay eggs!"
"Remus that is the best idea ive ever heard!"
"now now de, no need to be mea-"
Logan was cut off by banging on the front door Logan insisted on installing
Logan slowly walked to the door
knowing who it was in an instant
"Logan wait."
Deceit said in a hushed voice
"you know who it is, theres only so many sides in the mind space-"
"i know but we need to see what they want."
logan said as he turned the knob and opened the door while stepping out of the way
only to see an unconscious and disheveled virgil fall through the door way onto the ground
"haha! i told you he'd hit his face first!!"
patton said holding back a fit of laughter
"ugh, yea yea, you win-"
"what the fuck!?"
Remus screamed, rising from his previous seat on the couch
before anyone could get out another word deceit had rushed over to the open door way and then scooped vrigil up in his arms
but only when he did this
did he notice virgils eye
"Get. Out."
"de whats bleeding on vir-"
Logan began to ask only to cut himself off with a gasp and tears begining to prick his eyes
"we need to get to the creativity space now! we still have time!!"
Remus said, grabbing virgil from deceit and pushing past roman only to be grabbed by the arm by someone he once called his brother
"where do you think you going?"
he said as he summoned his sword
"Logan, get him to the creativity space"
remus said slowly and eerily calm as he handed virgils limp body over to him
"but remus i-"
"Now!!"
Logan was out the door in an instant
tears pricking his eyes and fear rising in his chest

he looked like Roman for a second

...
...

"so i was thinking i could make you and virgil match!"
as Roman swung his sword at Remus he deflected it with his mace that he managed to summon
Remus momentarily stumbled back
"how-  how did i-"
"ha! so your finally getting what you forgot so long ago!"
the metal weapons clashed together
echoing through the room
"what are you talking abo- argh!"
he tried but was slashed in the face on his cheek
"they key to our powers is anger dear brother!"
just as the sword was about to hit his eye it was intercepted by a golden knife
"shut up."
said deceit
golden eye glowing bright and his dirty blond hair over the other
"excuse m-"
"Shut up! he isnt like you and never will be!!"
as knife begin to surrond Roman Patton steped in between him and deceit
"now now my dear children! i think its time for us to take our leave!"
Patton said with a fake wide smile on his face
"but this lying snake thinks he ca-"
"Now Roman.."
"..."
they had never seen that type of fear in Romans eyes
"yes patton."
patton proceeded to grab the collar of his shirt and pull him right out the door
"till next time!"
the door slammed shut and just like that, they where gone
almost as if they where never there
and they had left the two with so much to think about
almost to much to remember what had happened
and almost in synce
they remembered
"virgil!"
