you can but we both know its not safe for anyone here and plus he-"
"Remus, i didnt already tell you No."
"But Dee, i-"

deceit said as he begun to walk away
" why dont you ever listen to me.."
Remus mumbled under his breath
"speak down Remus"
"why dont you ever just listen to me! sure i get it when it comes to Logan, but come on! you wouldnt even let me try to help Logan with fixing up our side of the mind space, even though i know i can do it!!"
"Remus continue- "
"or did you just happen to forget about the fact that im one of the creativitwins?!"
"Remus i-"
Deceit tried with an apologetic look in his eyes
"Sometimes you act just like Roman-"
"Remus that is by far quite enough."

for the first time since his arrival they noticed that Logan was leaning on the door frame
his hair in a messy and tangled bun
Remus' mind finally caught up with what he said
"deceit i-"
as he turned around to face deceit he noticed the tears that where in the corners of his now glossy eyes

he turned around without another word and left
"deceit!! im sorr-"
"Remus. i suggest you stop, and before j forget, never. compare. him. to. Roman."
Logan said, before walking off to get back to work

"i didnt mean to"
Remus said, in a quite, and hoarse wisper

it had been a good four hours of Remus sitting alone, well more of lying alone on the living areas floor
as Logan finally got back he attempted to converse with him
"hey Remus, i was wandering around and i found this white door what is it?"
"..."
Remus didnt want to talk
he couldn't
"would it by any chance be the door to the dream space?"
what if he said something wrong again
"Remus?"
what if he hurt Logan and he never wanted to see him again
"Remus-"
your Gonna Hurt Him
"Remus!"
As Logan snapped him out of it he noticed that Logan had him in a tight hug
"Logan? Whats wrong?"
"I should ask you the same thing"
"why-"
"why aren't you crying Remus?"
as they both turned to Deceit, thinking it was another side for a second or two due to his usually nicely done hair being tangled and sticking up in multiple directions
but then Remus processed what had been asked
"Crying?"
he reached a hand up to his face and felt the wet tears going down his face
"i- i just-"
"whats wrong Remus?"
Logan asked, concern painted on his face
"im f-fine- i- i just-"
"totally fine cut it out with that bullshit Remus"
deceit said, slowly walking towards the creative side
"NO!! ill say something hurtful again!"
"what are yo-"
Logan tried
"Ill say somthing just like He would! im just like him!! "
"Remus just calm d-"
"How can i when im just like him?!"
"Who aren't you talking about?!"
Deceit was getting to his limit
"Roman! im just like Roman!!"

everything went quite
and Logan couldn't help but see a memory of Thomas'
not that he wanted to at all

as he opened his eyes he didnt know where closed he was in the living room again
he didnt know how he got here
or why he felt so upset and anxious
he looked to his left and saw the familiar creativitwins

"-Yet as soon as you showed up, Thomas had a dukey problem-"
Logan didnt know why seeing Roman had made him so upset
or angry
Had they fought this morning?
"Thomas already made a dukey joke! BBYEeeeeeee!"
No, that wasnt it
they hadn't even talked during the video really
What was wrong?
"Hmph! Don't like him-"
was the last thing Logan heard before trying to figure this out
well until Roman said somthing he didnt know he didn't want to hear

"its like looking in a mirror and seeing everything you dont want to be"

Roman said, or was it remus
he looked to his left once more and saw them both
but instead of the kind and caring Roman and snarkey Remus
Roman was bitter and eyes only held hatred and regret
Remus on the other hand, took on Romans kind eyes that held regret and sadness with a sad smile placed on his face

they had switched places
this wasnt right
they weren't balanced
if this was the case then the split was for nothing
all that trauma
all the crying
all their pain
it was all for nothing
where was Thomas

as Logam reaced up to run a hand through his hair he felt how long it was
it wasnt in the bun he maintained
it was tied at the end in a star patterned bow
"when did i-"

*beep beep beep beep beep*

he turned around only to be met with Thomas
in a hospital bed
he saw the doctors
but thats not to say he wanted to hear what they where saying
"Thomas sanders is in a coma Joan, we are terribly sorry to say, we dont think hell wake up anytime soon"

wait-
the crash
Thomas and Joan
two years
the ringing
the light sides
Remus and Deceit
why was he here again?
why did he have to go through this again?!
why alone?!

one memory had led to another,,, until he woke up

with a gasp Logans arms tightened around Remus to the point that even without the gasp
to say they where confused would be an understatement
to them it had been mere seconds
but to logan it felt like years had just flown by
"Im sorry Logie,, i guess s-seeing Roman in me is just l-"
"like looking in a mirror and seeing everything you dont want to be?"
"how did you-"
"i dont want to talk about it"

as Logan stood up he decided to ask somthing again
"was the white door the door to the dream space?"
"yesss, why Lo?"
deceit said, concern in hos tone
"does anyone know how to train a sides powers?"
he was jumping from topic to topic
before deceit could object, Remus spoke up
"the room of creativity, where me and roman,, err,, Romelius grew up, but its dangerous there, ever since the split"

as Logan put on a smile and headed to bed the other two followed
"dont worry Logan, we wont get it open"
deceit said while placing a hand on his head
"i know dee, its just hard"
Logan said, while slipping into bed
"its okay hun"
and they all got in bed and drifted off they knew it would be okay

but at what cost?

i hope this was a good chapter, it took a minute but i tried to write semi fluff but apparently this story has so much angst that it makes it hard
