I finished brushing my teeth and stepped back into the room where Devin was on the bed with three boxes of playing cards.

"You have 3 options"

"UNO, Heroes and Villains or Normal Cards?"

"Normal Cards?" I chuckled as I plopped down on my side of the bed.

"Well, yeah. I only know Go Fish though"

"That's alright. I'll teach you some. It's better than Heroes and Villains right now"

"Heroes and Villains is one of the best" he reasoned, arching his brows.

"I mean. I'm not saying no" I explained as I shuffled the card deck.

"But.. how much more heroes and villains do you want again today."

"I guess. But who do you consider the hero and the villain?"

"Honestly, I don't think anyone is. We're a family with a ton of issues that just needs to get sorted out.

I mean, all families have issues" I passed out cards between him and myself.

"I get what you mean. But, I think my Dad is the problem. I don't think Grandpa would lie"

Oh boy. Here we go.

But in honesty, Grandpa never really said that I didn't have powers.

He just never said that I had powers.

Is that lying?

So many questions, so few answers.

"Well, I can't really say who's the problem to be honest. It seems as though a lot of stuff is missing"

"What do you mean?"

"It's like a puzzle. Say you have a puzzle and you lost a lot of the pieces.

The pieces you have is the information we have. What they're telling us.

The pieces that are lost is the information we don't know, that they aren't telling us"

"Yes, I understand. To get the full picture, we need all the pieces."

"Exactly."

We both laughed.

"Alright, let's get this game going"

I then proceeded to teach him my favorite card game, Roamy.

"I think I'm ready" he declared after the second practice game.

"Ready to play for real"

"Ready to beat you"

I laughed "If you say so."

"Just go easy on me alright" he chuckled.

After about twenty or so rounds, I got fed up of winning.

"Agh, let's play Heroes and Villains"

"Hey, I was just starting to get the hang of it" he laughed.

"At least I got some wins in"

"Was only two times" I face palmed.

"You have to start small" he said triumphantly.

"Whatever you say," I smirked.

He shoved the playing cards back into it's box, quickly getting the other set of cards out.

The aim of Heroes and Villains is to have the last card standing after the round.

You start with six cards, and you have to place a hero or villain card to defeat the card another player draws.
