it kills all rationality and viciously stabs you with angst.
you feel taut cords coil your mind and squeeze hard, succumbing you to insanity.
all colour pales and freezes.
something unnerving dominates your sight, for what you behold only daunts you.
quivering and twitching is all you get by,
as it creeps up your scorching body 'till it reaches your chest,
and plunges deep.
and with it brings out your thrashing heart.
instantaneously all air is sucked out and your lungs collapse.
you collapse.
and you could do nothing but watch it destruct you.
while you bleed,
while you wheeze,
tremor,
it toys with your heart.
pinches it.
kneads it.
crushes it.
and yet it beats, and you feel every single strike.
fear is what you feel.
afraid is what you are.
oh, the terror.
i face away and scram because i'm afraid fear might seize me,
and whack away of what's left of my already dying light.
