i wish i could rewind but time is also cruel. though nothing can compare to the way i've disappointed you.
yet you persevere. how don't you hate me, mother? i've given you more pain than life could bring you ever.
i've driven you to your limits and tore you to its and bits. i'm not worthy of your love. feel free to throw me in the darkest of pits.
but maybe if i looked at me through your eyes, i might just be able to forgive all of the lies.
