how you make such fools of us.
you make us see a reality all but few can only dream of having.
so entrancing, we lose ourselves in a maze we don't know the way out to.
the only thing we're chasing is an invisible force we fell for,
trying to get a grip by feeling the bond.
it feels so real until we learn its shattered truth:
it doesn't exist.
i put a gun in your hand with the belief you'd withhold.
instead, you pull the trigger without an ounce of remorse.
i'd rather strike me out myself than hand over my soul to you.
you are wicked.
you are brutal.
only a bullet to the heart.
but oh love,
if you are truly a lie,
then why do we need you?
