⌈ CURSED ⌋
'cause nothing weighs more than an empty soul;
i could put those bodybuilders to shame,
bearing a weight i dare you to lift,
please spare the effort, it'll only be in vain.
'cause nothing weighs more than a sunken heart;
no soul could mend what they couldn't see,
or heal what they failed to feel.
in the end, all i could get by was: conceal and don't feel.
don't let them know,
don't let them show,
or my weaknesses will overshadow.
and when those weaknesses will grow,
it'll nourish a flower too poisonous to keep alive.
except the poison can only toxicate itself.
its inevitable, undefeatable idiosyncrasy,
the only bane in its life,
would eventually lead to its wanting death.
a beauty that should've never been born,
unwillingly killed its own self.
