it's overwhelming at times.

i see empty walls of albino white.

no windows or doors or anything in sight.

just a digital clock beeping by,

but no certainty of day or night.

my eyes now catch someone;

it displays a wicked smile;

no body, no soul, no mind,

it has arrived: an old foe of mine.

it's come to besiege me again.

i screamed as it began,
the long awaited torment.
