if i am gonna live,
i want to feel it in my bones.
penetrate so deep,
it leaves no inch of me alone.
dance. like a flame against the wind,
or like an excited kite soaring.
why not like a grooving water fountain,
or like a dancer's high spirits.
let your body loose like jello.
gyrate out the mellow.
dont be shy,
don't be so wry,
kiss the devil cheerio!
and before i knew it
i was already all gone.
taken by the beat,
i forgot to feel forlorn.
jumbled melodies,
yet in me i felt each note;
deafening to the world,
but imma rock my own boat.
in this moment what i feel,
i feel it coursing inside my bones.
it penetrate so deep
it left no inch of me alone.
because if i am gonna live,
then i want to feel
as if i've just been newly born.
