Walking threw the halls I saw loads of people. Couples all boo'd up and hugging, athletes standing and watching liked they owned everything and everybody, even girls of all races with they clothes all up they tail. This school just wasn't for me I thought making it to my locker.

"Hey Kim, what happened to you last year," this boy I used to know standing by my locker asked.

"Oh, nothing," I said turning back around, dismissing him. Last year something happened and I was not gone I just stayed at home for the whole school year, but that's a whole 'nother story. People just need to mind they business. He gave me a look and I gave him one right back, because it wasn't none of his business.

"Ain't none yo business Rayshawn, damn," I said, nosey ass kid.

"Ok I was just asking no need to have an attitude," he said then slammed his locker and walked away. I don't care with, shit, ain't none of his business. Like I said.

I looked up at the sky damn hoe I wasn't tryna go to class. Sighing real hard I went to class thinking bout skipping then remembered how I couldn't from all my absences from last year.

Shaking my head I walked into my math class. I don't understand how we have math early in the morning and Mrs.Crabtree still be ready to teach so enthusiastically. I mean damn lady it's too early for all that.

Walking sitting in my desk in the middle of the class, since in the back where the loud and bad ass kids be and in the front where she be picking students from, I sat my ass down.

Plugging my earbuds in I turn my music up and put my head down. I felt something tapping me.

"Miss Jones please refrain from sleeping in my fucking class please," Mrs.Crabtree asked. You wondering if that's my teacher talking right? Well yes that's her she decided she wanted to talk like us she says and she gets away with not just because the principal is her husband, no, because he's not used to dealing with ghetto ass children like us. No offense but before this was the only public high school he only dealt with little rich white kids. So his wife decided to join us with her presence.

She stood there waiting for a answer she knew she wasn't about to get. So I stared back without saying a word. Like I always did when I got into trouble with her and she flashed me a sarcastic smile and went back to teaching I guess. Don't forget how I flashed her one right back.

"Old bitch," I mumbled. A few kids snickered in the back and I just stared since I already learned this when I was out last year. I'm just required by law to be here otherwise I would be at my grandma house chillin'.
