Drishti has now split from Yash for weeks, Drishti tells me everything, and has said that they haven't spoken in weeks despite her getting numerous miscalls through Yash. a part feels bad for them since they were going so strong, yet what Yash did was bad. I just feel like if Drishti listened to Yash more instead of her mum's demands, maybe they could've stayed together.
After all, Yash did say he was sorry. Making these worser is Varun, who I still talk to. He isn't like Yash, he is simple and I know problems like what happened with Drishti and Yash won't happen between me and him unless he is really like Yash.
Today in fact Varun asked me to meetup with him sometime liken a date. Immediately th first thought was how Drishti would react. This was Yashs own brother. Regardless telling Drishti seemed like a bad idea
Then I get a message from Varun, stating "on? you talked ty your sister ?"
without hesntation send " you know what they've been through. That's, not a good idea"
Varun immediately calls assumingly ty discuss this.
"Hey" I sigh
"Kriti, this isn't about them. Kriti I really like you. Must think about our love not theirs. Doesn't means that we shouldn't pursue what we had. Understand me?" Varun sighs
"Guess your right should I tell Drishti though?" I question with doubt there
"Sure" Varun replies sarcastically
"Ok fine," I say putting down the phone slowly
Drishti's in her mobile phone, assumingly messaging her mates.
He isn't satisfied with me asking Drishti about whether I should date him or not, but she is my sister, therefore, this needs ty be done at this moment.
"Hey Um "
"What?" Drishti questions realising how nervous that I look
"Have ty ask you-" I start
"Is this about Varun?" Drishti laughs
"Why are you laughing?" I ask in confusion
"Kritika wait do you really think I wouldn't know that you've been talking to Varun in secret" She laughs
"Drishti. I-I am so sorry I thought I could tell you but just couldn't get myself ty tell you earlier"I panic
"Hey, Kriti, Calm down, you really think this is a problem, it isn't, chill girll" Drishti laughs
"But Yash and you were fighting I just thought that our relationship would make it awkward for you guys" I explain
"Hey, there's no need ty be this hesntent. Whatever happened between Yash and me is between our relationship which over now. Don't let go of someone who loves you due to his crappy brother" Drishti says
"Okay if you say so" I sigh
"Kritika, why are you looking so down? Trust me this will work out" Drishti assures
"What if Yash finds out. Varun hasn't told him yet, apparently, he is still sulking about his Drishti" I joke
"Ugh, Yash might thik that this will get him closer to me yet I won't let that happen. If Yash tries to bring our relationship into your one I will speak to him and deal with that okay? " Dristi says sternly
"Okay then this actually means a lot I was stressing myself out" I sigh
"Hey no need for this formality, we're sisters," Drishti says hugging
"So I can go out with him?" I ask once again ty make sure
"Kriti! Yes!" Drishti yells with impatience
"Okay I will tell him" I laugh
"Yes hurry and do that. Your prince charming mostly waiting for your reply" Drishti laughs
"Okay sister" I pat
This means a lot ty me. Honestly getting someone like Drishti to put my relationship over hers is truly amazing. Now therefore this is sorted I have ty call Varun and tell him that I finally can go out with him. Varun will be so happy. He has been waiting whole week for me to ask. I call him.
"Varun," I say into the phone
"You asked?" He says
"Yes! She said yes" I laugh
"That's good," He says
"Finally we're together" I grin
"Yes, so what's the plan now?" He asks
"Tomorrow?" I ask
"Tomorrow night will pick you up heney" Varun says
"Night? Can't we go to lunch?" I ask hesntant to how my mum would react
"Babe this first date has ty be special I can organise a dinner for me and you, " He says
"Okay then" I sigh
"That's sorted then finally I will call you tomorrow hun," He says
"Okay," I say with a sigh
Varun immediately cuts the phone call leaving me blank.
