Hurting, writhing in agony, the pain is consuming my body. Is there a God? If there is a God, why have you forsaken me?

I question countless times, "Where am I?"

"How did I get here?" But no answers can reveal themselves.

Hell. It burns. I'm praying for the end.

Black.

Gasping with a desperate hunger for oxygen, my pulse racing as I helplessly grasp my grey bedsheets, I open my eyes and sigh in relief. What time is it? I sit up, groping blindly for my phone as my eyes adjust to the darkness. 11pm, damn, I must've drifted off after the call with Christopher had ended. What an intense nightmare, the third one this week...

My fragile brain is tormented with a tremendous headache. Huh? Two missed calls... As I await the miracle of another humans voice, my phone buzzes softly, slowly. "Hello, this is Mary. You've reached my voicemail. Please leave a message and I'll be glad to return the call. Thankyou!" I... I don't know what to say,  N-no! This can't be right. But... That voice, soft, sweet, all her love in every single word.. There's no mistaking it. Arthur had cancelled her phone bill after a week... How?
That's it. I'm still dreaming. After erasing the notification and turning off my phone, I once again allow myself to relax and drift off into sleep. Not bothering to change my clothing or actually lay beneath the covers as opposed to on top of them.
