DEDICATED TO kate5533 for being lovely and telling her how much she likes this book personally and I_AM_MUDBLOOD who's been helping me write the romantic parts, because we all know I'm not very mushy gushy like that.

I woke up with an excruciating headache. I rolled onto my side and picked up my phone.

The light burned into my eyes as my lock screen appeared.

"Call Connor" I muttered into the microphone.

"Hello?" That's not Connor.

"Carter, come carry me downstairs." I asked, feeling lazy.

"Why did you call Connor for that?" He asked a bit mad?

"Why did you answer his phone?" I retorted.

"Because last night you guys were both drunk as crap."

I frowned, not remembering last night at all.

"Oh. still come carry me!" I whined.

The line went dead and he stepped into my room

"You're so lazy." he grumbled picking me up off of my bed.

"So what carry me peasant!" I slapped him lightly on the face.

He rolled his eyes and carried me out of the room and down the stairs.

He sat me down in a barstool and I looked around.

"Where is everyone?"

"The twins moved out yesterday, Brandon's at his math camp, and Connor is on a date with Lindsay."

I grinned and clasped my hands together.

"Is that the girl at the movie the other night?" He nodded and went to the fridge

"So what are we doing today?" I asked.

"We?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Yeah we, Wait!" I gasped and jumped out of my seat.

"Where is my backpack?" I pulled on his arm franticly.

He grabbed my hands and placed them back at my side.

"Calm. It's in the closet" he answered leading me to the closet and retrieving my bag for me.

I nodded quickly in thanks and ran into the living room. Jumping onto the couch beside me Carter peeked into the bag and looked back at me with confusion

"Why did you want this?" He asked.

I rummaged around for a minute before opening the small compartment with my pads in it.

"Hey! Woah" he put a hand over it looking away.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him away

"Don't act like all girls don't do it"

"Four year olds don't" he sneered at me, crossing his arms and pouting.

I scoffed and pulled out the two pieces of paper.

"That is what we are doing today." I smirked

"Comic-con?"

I nodded excitedly and sprung up.

"Ohh bad idea." I fell back down clutching my hung over head.

I got up, slowly this time and walked up the stairs again.

"Get dressed, it's time to get our nerd on"

I ran back downstairs, after taking a Tylenol and dressing in cut off jeans shorts, a red checkered flannel over a white shirt and red converse.
