Where is he?

One peaceful day in the mushroom Kingdom things have been the same peach has been attending Royal duties and being kidnapped as usual and the Mario Bros are always coming to her aid but it's been quiet in the kingdom since the last time Bowser ever attacked the kingdom a little too quiet some people think he's up to something so no one let's down their guard not even the Mario Bros. Speaking of the plumbers they were on their way to visit princess Peach in her castle only because they had nothing else to do today.

Mario: Hey Luigi

Luigi : yea bro

Mario: do you think Bowser might be hatching another evil scheme to try and take the princess again

Luigi: I don't know Mario but I'm guessing yes even though I wouldn't be surprised if he just gave up

Mario: why do you say that

Luigi: well everytime he's tried he always failed because we were there to stop it all and he's tried to get peach to fall in love with him multiple times and it never works so I don't really see why he's trying

Mario: Yea me too who knows maybe Bowser decided to throw in the towel and try to bug someone else for a change

Luigi: maybe bro but that's just wishful thinking to me

Mario: yea well I'm wishing for it to be true already

Luigi: (chuckles)

As they walked towards the palace doors two toads stepped aside and let them in so they could speak with the princess who was sitting at a frilly pink table with tea and cake

Toadsworth: ah Master Mario and Master Luigi how are you fellows today

Mario: we're good toadsworth

Luigi: yea we're good

Toadsworth: ah very good then

Peach: (smiles)yes it is good to see our heroes in good health

Mario: (smiles)we're always ready to keep you safe princess no matter what

Luigi:(blushes)yea we're gonna be there for you all the time

Peach: I'm glad to hear that why don't you two stay awhile and have some tea and cake and we can chat for a bit I have no more meetings for today anyway

Mario: that'd be amazing princess

Luigi: yea that sounds delicious

So minutes turned to hours as they continued to talk about various subjects like the next go cart race or the next sports tournament they would have but then one topic came up that everyone thought about

Peach: I wonder why Bowser hadn't captured me In such along time

Mario: why do you wonder that

Peach: well it has become a habit and I kinda got used to it I just hope he didn't get too hurt about what I said the last time

Luigi: well what did you say

Peach: um well.....
