Chapter 29 - Breakfast

"Hey buenos dias guapa," I said to Andrea as I walked out to the living room downstairs.

"Buenos dias," she said with a smile, taking off her headphones.

"Did you sleep yesterday?" I asked her.

"I came out here for a while before going to bed," she told me. I nodded with a smile.

"That's a new hoodie," she said with a smirk and I blushed as I looked down.

"We talked on the balcony outside my room," I told her and she smiled.

"I know, I saw you when I was coming down," she winked, causing me to laugh.

"I think I'm going outside," I told her and she nodded before putting her headphones back on. I walked out to the sitting area and sat down, taking out my phone. I like sitting in the sun in the morning and this was the perfect place. I would do it at home, but Andrea and I didn't have a chair on our balcony in case it rained. We're not cleaning it.

I pulled up the sleeves of my, well, Christopher's hoodie and pulled my knees up to my chest as I closed my eyes. Sitting outside in the sun in the mornings was something that I would do on the weekends back home in Ecuador. I took out my phone and saw that I had a text from Christopher once he left my room last night.

From Christopher:
Good night Nila :)

I smiled at this. We continued texting each other every morning and night. I did not expect to get one from him last night. Ever since he said that he wanted us to be close again (chapter 17),  we had continued sending each other a text in the morning and at night. Smiling, I sent him a text.

From me:
Good morning, have a good day today!

"I will," I heard say and I quickly stood up and turned around to Christopher standing behind me with his phone in his hand.

"Good morning, Nila," he said and I smiled at him, sitting down on the sofa. He sat down beside me and put his legs on the table in front of us.

"You still sit outside in the morning?" I asked him as I turned to look at him.

"Yeah," he said. "Almost everyday, but now you're here too," he added with a small smile which I returned.

"Do you want to go get breakfast together?" Christopher asked and I nodded. We stood up together and walked into the house.

"The boys don't wake up this early," Christopher told me.

"I find it hard to believe that you wake up the earliest," I said and he stuck his tongue out at me.

"Hey, we're going to get breakfast, any preferences?" Christopher asked Andrea who had her headphones on and her eyes closed. Walking over to her, I took out her headphones and she opened her eyes.

"Hmm?"

"We're getting breakfast, any preferences?" he repeated and she shook her head with a small smile on her face. It wasn't her usual smile, it was her 'hmm, interesting' smile.

"Cállate," I told her as Christopher went to take his car keys. She winked at me and I laughed, shaking my head.

"We're just getting breakfast," I told her and she rolled her eyes at me.

"Mmhmm."

"We're only getting breakfast!" I exclaimed.

"First a late night date and now you're going somewhere alone, my baby's growing up," she said in a shaky voice and I hit her with a pillow continuously. She laughed and my cheeks heated up.

I heard Christopher's footsteps and I stopped hitting her. Before I stood up to leave, I took two pillows and smack her with it. She fell dramatically and I laughed, turning to walk to the door.

"Don't take too long," she said and I could hear the smirk in her voice.

"Cállate," I replied as I walked out the door. Christopher closed the door and held his hand out. I took it and we walked towards the car.

"See you guys soon!" Erick said as we put our bags in our cars. We had finished our breakfast and were now heading home.

"Before your tour," Andrea added and they nodded. During breakfast, they told us that they were leaving for tour in 3 weeks.

We said our goodbyes and hugged each other before leaving. Christopher was the last to hug me and he gave me the tightest hug as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"See you soon," he said and I nodded.

"See you soon."

All of us got into our own cars and we pretty much went in the same direction.

"Spill," Andrea said.

"About?" I asked innocently.

"You know what."

"I didn't know why I asked him to come over but it wasn't weird. It felt natural and I was very comfortable with him. I didn't even realise that we were up so late. Time flew by really fast," I told her.

"Of course it flew by fast, hermosa. You were comfortable with him and you enjoyed talking to him," she said and I nodded.

"He sent me a text yesterday."

"Yesterday too?" she asked and I nodded.

"I sent him one this morning. I didn't expect him to text me yesterday but he did," I said as Andrea drove into the carpark.

"I also really like his hoodie," I told her and she laughed.

"He's never getting it back, right?"

"No."

"I'm really happy you're getting closer to him," she said as I smiled at her. We got home and after we showered, we sat on our couch.

"What do you feel about them going on tour?" Andrea asked me.

"I think I'll miss them. We probably won't talk or text each other often because of the time difference and all," I said to her and she nodded.

"I'll miss them too, but what about Christopher?"

"I'll miss him but we'll be going home together during Christmas," I told her.

"Really?"

"Yeah. They'll be back a few days before Christmas so we'll be flying back together. Are you going back to Alcobendas?" I asked her.

"Yeah. I'll be going back to Spain with Luis and Julia," she told me.

"I'll miss you," she added with a small smile.

"I'll miss you too."
